Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please make sure all dog poo is picked up and bagged from outside decks and please check house. Much appreciated
Leave beds unmade. Any blankets or throws that need to be washed please place in laundry room on floor.
Blue towels need to be washed by themselves in cold water. They will bleed on laundry.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please use baby oil and white towels provided to clean feet and skin if you have stepped on oil blobs from the ocean. Do not use house towels.
Please do not put sandy swimsuits in the washer or dryer. Dry outside and shake off sand outside.

Our home has bought such joy to our family for over 50 years. Coming together at the seashore with nature and all it has to offer has enriched the lives of my children, grandchildren and family friends. Now it is time to share that experience to bring the same happiness to others. We hope that you enjoy our home as much as we have over the years and leave with a sense of peace that only nature can provide. The Chateau "C" by the "C" is indeed a special place.

Why they chose this property

Our family has always loved the water. We have been fortunate to travel to many places where we enjoyed the waters of the world. Ventura was the perfect place for us to explore being able to stay weekends and summers. Often our family would dive and snorkel the Channel Islands, an untouched natural wonder. Close by is Santa Barbara offering superb underwater diving different from Ventura. Surfing, boogie boarding, boating, and deep sea fishing are pleasures you will truly enjoy while visiting Ventura. Our hope is you and yours will love the area as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

Chateau "C" by the Sea has come full circle. It was time to update the Grand Chateau. The entire house has been totally remodeled from ceiling to floors. You will notice walking up to the front door all the personal touches from the large "C" on the door to the larger "C" on the oceanfront side of the house.

We have personally designed the stained glass windows throughout the home. View the windows at different times throughout the day to see the changing colors of the fish and birds. We have added large portholes where you can look at the ocean as if you are on a ship. You will love the comfort and space of the home allowing a flow that is geared towards relaxation.
