Luxury Log Cabin w/ Spacious Great Room On Trout Stream w/playground & hot tub

We’re thrilled to share that beginning in early 2026, our cabin will undergo a major renovation designed to make your stay even more memorable. What is currently a 3‑bedroom cabin will soon become a spacious 4‑bedroom retreat, complete with a brand‑new bunk room perfect for families and groups.

The master suite will be significantly expanded and will feature a large, private luxury bathroom. We’re also adding a private covered outdoor porch directly off the master—an ideal spot for morning coffee or peaceful evenings overlooking the wooded backyard and stream

To top it off, a generous game room will be added just off the great room, giving everyone even more space to relax, play, and enjoy time together.

Big things are coming in the Summer of 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome you to an even better getaway.

This luxury Log Cabin is located on a wooded lot at the end of a cul da sac with excellent view & sounds from the rushing trout stream on the property. You will enjoy over 3 acres of play area that are enclosed with a winding trout stream along the border of the property. There is over 1900' of trout stream to enjoy. The Cabin has 3 bedrooms with now 2 king size beds and 1 queen, 1 sleeping Loft, & 2 full bathrooms. Inside it is beautifully appointed with all the modern amenities of a luxury hotel. Whether in the loft, out on the large rear deck or down at the fire pit by the stream, you will find great locations to curl up with your favorite book or just hang out with family and friends. Awesome private playground. On the main level there is a very large great room & kitchen combo spaces to really enjoy company and fun. The great room contains a large 60" flat-screen TV & DVD player to enjoy. Just outside on the rear deck overlooking the stream and fire pit is the 6-person Jacuzzi hot tub. The cabin is decorated with a very cozy, yet rustic decor. There are quilts, furry blankets, and lots of black bear paraphernalia. Really cute and fun! Firewood provided seasonally. Free Wifi. No pets allowed, kids under 12 are free.

This cabin is right next door to our other two cabins (VRBO#233335 and #3264751). This is a great way to get together for a family reunion or gathering of friends by renting both or all 3 cabins. Our 4th cabin is about 10 mins away. It’s VRBO #956322. Check it out too.

The house had a great “new cabin” feel and lots of basic supplies. As a “luxury” cabin I would have expected a few more amenities but it didn’t take away from our experience. Plenty of space (it’s unfortunate dogs are not allowed as it would be more than enough space still!) and the landscaping made it easy to access the stream and dip our feet in. Fire pits are perfect too!

The house was clean and beautiful. The property was just lovely. Hot tub was clean and warm. I would add though that the rock drive way is very steep and smaller type cars might struggle with it. We were in an SUV and struggled to leave during a rainstorm. No one's fault - just information. We would happily return again for a longer stay.

Thank you so much for the great review and information. We are very proud of the partnership we have with our cleaning company. They truly are best in the business. Regarding the driveway, we are aware of this and right now are starting an exterior renovation that will last a couple of weeks in between bookings. We’re going to be making the parking area larger with small stone retaining walls and then once that is completed, we are going to be pouring concrete instead of gravel for the slope ensuring that any car can’t get in and out easily. The house and property were amazing! I would stay here again and again. The house and property was just so beautiful and so relaxing. The drive is a little hard to get in and out of because it’s gravel on a hill but it was worth it! Highly recommend!

We loved this cabin just minutes away from downtown Ellijay and BJ Reese Apple orchard. My toddler loved the playset and running around in the expansive yard. Listening to the stream while sitting on the back porch was so peaceful. The cabin was clean and very homey!

Best Vacation Spot Yet!

Over the past 8 years my big family has taken a vacation all over GA, and this has been our favorite spot by far!!! The big backyard with a playground made a perfect spot for the kids to play, while we hung out on the spacious back porch and played cards. There is plenty to do in a 20 min drive, but we honestly never wanted to leave the house. We enjoyed cooking dinners in the big kitchen, then going down to the fire pit for smores and fireflies. This place has everything you need and we hope to be back soon!

Beautiful getaway

We loved are stay in this beautiful cabin the playground was a life saver keeping the kids busy. Only thing I would change about the cabin was the driveway not so easy to get in and out of in my mom van. Overall it was beautiful and we will definitely be staying here again really soon.

Beautiful Home

Staying at this home was glorious, despite the torrential rain storm passing through the area. They had a wonderful fireplace, board games, covered hot tub, and foosball that kept us all busy despite not being able to go outside to use all they had there too. I'd love to stay here again!

My family loved this cabin, it was on a beautiful property with a wonderful large yard. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you will need to enjoy nature. Walmart wasnt too far away, the orchard was near by too. I would totally recommend this cabin and look forward to coming back.

Amazing - yet again!

This was our second trip as a family, and it was even better the 2nd time around! We look for places that are spacious, kid-friendly, clean, comfy beds, lots of amenities, fun areas nearby ..... this place checks ALL of those boxes, and throw in a wonderful hot-tub, an trout stream right off the property, and lots of privacy and it is safe to say we'll be booking every year.

We live just north of Atlanta and have two young young children. My husband & I started going to the mountains shortly after getting married and fell in love with everything the area had to offer. Several years later, we purchased our first mountain cabin. Over the next 12 years, we have been able to add three other cabins in the area. My husband is a custom home builder and focused on every detail. He has extensively renovated or modified each one of these homes to create their very own special & unique experiences. In his owns words he wants to "create a comfortable place that promotes the creation of new memories and stories as you forget about all the craziness back home". I am also a very meticulous house owner and have made sure that each house is easy to use, organized, and well equipped. We hope that you enjoy each location as much as we do.

It is the same at all 3 of our properties. As a custom home builder and designer my husband has taken each home and created a true experience and getaway. Although each cabin is very unique, the goal is the same. To create an environment that promotes the creation of new memories and stories as you forget about the craziness back home. Every detail has been thought of from how you approach the property and experience it to the labels on every light switch to allow total relaxation.

What makes this property unique

This property is located on an amazing trout stream that is not only ideal for fishing but also perfect for playing in warmer months. It is not too fast or to deep to enjoy a fun walk up the creek. However it is also large enough for fishing the trout that are stocked throughout the year. There is more than 1900 feet of creek frontage and 3 acres to play and have fun. Playground on the property. This cabin is right next door to our other cabin (VRBO#233335) and is a great way to get together for a family reunion or gathering of friends by renting both cabins.
