A nice, clean house, easily accessible, big enough for 4.Close to West Seattle bridge, therefore some noise from road and harbor as well as Boeing Field. Overall neighborhood nice and laid back.Communication was quick, kitchen well equipped.
The host was absolutely delightful to deal with.
The place was cozy and quant and a lil charming cottage. Convenient and easy to find. 5 stars is not enough!
We were in town for a wedding but had never been to Seattle before so we stayed a few extra days to explore. The location was convenient to the many places that we wanted to visit and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. The house had everything we needed and we were comfortable. We'd return!
We are return visitors to this property. The house is very cozy and comfortable. I needed to communicate with the owner and she always got back to me right away. We used the stay this time when our daughter went to the hospital to have her second child and we took care of our 3 1/2 year old grandaughter. The location is perfect for West Seattle- great walking neighborhood and nice big yard.
Property is an older, two bedroom home in a location relatively close to most attractions (stadiums, Pioneer Square, Pike Place, etc) in Seattle. Home is a little dated (no central A/C, doors need a little work), but not so much that it made the stay unpleasant. Location is great, with views of downtown and a 15 minute drive to downtown. Parking was easy. West Seattle is a great residential area with lots of great shops and restaurants. Lots of good walks/ hikes nearby as well.
I picked up girlfriend at the airport and we stayed in this house for two nights it was very clean and comfortable with a lot of amenities the house was obviously thought through and made for the comfort of the people that stay there I was very happy it was quiet and peaceful with Seattle all around and beautiful views the host was excellent!
Great location just 5 to 10 minutes from downtown. The off street parking was a big plus for me as I have a larger vehicle. There was also plenty of street parking in front of the house. The house was just right, clean and comfortable.
A cute older home in a neighborhood of West Seattle. Unpretentious and very comfortable. Felt just right for the two of us visiting family over Thanksgiving. Owner very responsive and helpful.
This adorable house was the perfect spot for someone looking for a "home" base. Marian is a wonderful host. Her home is comfortable and had everything I needed for my extended stay. You'll be a short drive from a small shopping center, Alki Beach, and downtown Seattle. Plus, there's so much to experience in West Seattle including the Farmer's Market. It was nice to be able to step out the front door and see the Space Needle!
I appreciated the washer/dryer, the full kitchen, and the free TV. It ended up being the last place I stayed in before signing a lease on a Seattle apartment and ending my cross country trip. I couldn't be more grateful.
This is the second stay at this wonderful home tucked in West Seattle. The view from the front yard is worth it! The proximity of the property to shopping, walking , ferries etc is great. You can’t go wrong booking this property!
This property helped us experience a wider view of Seattle. We loved that it was in a quieter area. Being walking distance from parks, hikes, public transportation, and food made it easy to get around. The manager was always willing to communicate and made our contactless process feel easy and safe.
From the booking point on this property and owner did not disappoint! The view from the front porch is amazing day and night! That view of the Space Needle doesn't disappoint! We look forward to staying here again!
For visiting Seattle's west side this place is in a great location. My kids and i walked to the market and some fun shopping locations. It is very clean and well stocked. Well worth the price the place suited my two kids and I perfectly for a long weekend. I certainly would stay there again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while visiting Seattle. The house had everything we needed for the week, and Marion was wonderful to work with! It was our first time using VRBO, and it was such a great experience!
Great location. Easy access to ballparks and downtown. Clean quiet house. Enjoyed our stay very much. We will be back

Nice house in a nice spot
The home was just what we needed for a weekend of fun in Seattle. It worked perfectly for our group of 4, and was easy to get around West Seattle and check out some great restaurants. And only a quick 10 minute drive into downtown Seattle, we went to the Seahawks game on Sunday and an Uber cost us just $15. I would stay again!

About the host
Hosted by MJ
My husband and I love to travel and have always stayed at vacation rentals when we vacationed, so we know what to consider in making our guests feel comfortable. Our goal when traveling was to "live like a local"--shop at the local markets, walk to nearby cafes, restaurants, catch a local live show, and enjoy the nature at each destination we visited.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because of it's desirable location. Just on the other side of the bridge, we're a short 10 minutes from downtown Seattle and Alki Beach (where we live) is also nearby. We love that there was views of downtown and the Space Needle from the front yard. Being a corner lot also allowed for tons of street parking.
