The team at Keswick Cottages were brilliant. Really accommodating when we asked questions or for more pictures prior to booking.
The house is a short walk to town centre but is in a very quiet area with a lovely garden to make use of.
Would book again.

Hi there!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you found our team helpful and accommodating before your stay — it’s always our aim to make the booking process as smooth and informative as possible.
It’s great to know you enjoyed the house and its location, with that perfect balance of being just a short walk into the town centre while still being in a quiet area. The garden really is a lovely bonus too when the weather allows.
We’re so pleased you had such a positive experience and would book again — we’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back in the future.
Best wishes,

Great little semi-detached property with fantastic views across Keswick and to the hills beyond. Great Comms from host. Easy reach of town centre but a quiet neighborhood. A bit of a hike back up to it from town but hey it's the Lake District. Well equipped. Double bed very comfy, singles a bit firmer

Comfortable little bungalow with easy access to town
Nice, quiet spot on the edge of town, with easy access down the nearby path to Ambleside road and straight into town.
Comfortable beds, good WiFi, well equipped kitchen, though it's a long time since we've stayed in anywhere with a carpet in the kitchen.. very brave! Great views from the kitchen and a shower with a view!
Would benefit from black out blinds in the bedroom, and really needs a hand rail down the front steps.
We had a lovely few days. Never took the car out which was great.
Staff at Keswick cottages were lovely too!

Hello Trevor! Thank you for taking the time to review 16 Manesty View. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found the bungalow to be a comfortable and peaceful base for your time in Keswick. It's great to know that the convenient location allowed you to leave the car behind and make the most of the town on foot, we know how bad the traffic can be at this time of year so this was very convenient for you, and we're pleased that both the property and the service from our team helped make your visit a memorable one. We appreciate your comments regarding the blackout blinds and handrail, and we will take these into consideration. Guest feedback means a great deal to both ourselves and the property owners and helps us continue to improve the experience wherever possible. On your next visit, we'd highly recommend a stroll through Hope Park and down to the lakeshore if you haven't visited already, a lovely way to enjoy some of Keswick's most picturesque scenery. Thank you again for your kind comments, and we hope to welcome you back very soon! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Fabulous views at 16 Majesty View
Definitely the best views of anywhere we have stayed in Keswick (and we've stayed in quite a few places over the years). Great views from the kitchen, bathroom and back bedroom. Completely secure for dogs. Short walk from town. As it's a cul de sac there was no issue with parking. Good shower and comfy beds. Just a couple of minor things - no coffee pods (a couple to start you off so you know which ones to buy), no washing up liquid or salt and pepper. We find the supplies vary now but a few essentials would be appreciated. Overall a delightful holiday let but we cannot overstate how fabulous the views were.

Hi there!
Thank you so much for your lovely and detailed review. We’re absolutely delighted to hear that these were the best views you’ve experienced in Keswick — especially as it sounds like you know the area very well! From the kitchen to the bathroom and back bedroom, those views really are something special.
It’s wonderful to hear the property worked so well for you and your dogs too. Having a secure outdoor space, comfortable beds, a good shower, and being just a short walk from town while still enjoying easy parking is a combination that’s hard to beat.
Thank you as well for your helpful feedback regarding the supplies. We provide a starter supply of essentials, although this can vary slightly between properties. Your suggestion regarding a couple of coffee pods to help guests identify the correct type is a good one, and we’ll pass your comments on for consideration.
We’re so pleased these were only minor points and that they didn’t detract from what was otherwise a delightful stay. Thank you again for your kind words — and especially for highlighting those fabulous views!
We’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again in the future.
Best wishes,
Keswick Cottages
