Most pleasant experience with host, meeting in person to provide guidance for the property was a plus!! Very clean and great location. Would definitely stay again.
Very clean, stocked w/coffee, creamers, basics that you may not remember. Great location, lots of cute restaurants within walking distance! Loved our reunion of friends time here!!!
Awesome location with access to a ton of nearby food and drinks. John was an awesome host - he even rode with us to show us the best bike route to get to Bourbon and Beyond. Highly recommend this as a great place to stay while you're in Louisville

Thank you, Chris! It was great meeting you all and showing you around. Glad you had a wonderful time. Come back and see us!
This is our second stay at this home. We love the location, close parking, beautifully kept home, comfortable beds, garden, porch and great shower. We will be back. The homeowner goes above and beyond leaving snacks, fresh flowers around the home and just about anything you need is available in the home. Highly recommend this place!
John had exceptional hospitality! From welcoming us to Louisville, to checking in to make sure our stay was satisfactory, John didn't miss a detail. The home was clean, inviting, and close to great restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again when visiting Louisville!

Thanks Elizabeth, great to host you! Please stay again anytime.
Stayed for one night as a local in the city for my daughter’s birthday. The house was very clean and had many suggestions for food and near by things to do. John was a great host and available with quick responses.
Property is as said, very clean an organized. It has a very chill vibe an is in a great location being near NuLu an Bardstown. Also Paristowne is getting cooler an cooler each visit. This visit was for a Racing game an were lucky enough to catch the garden fest
This was our second visit to Velo Studio and we just love it - very comfortable and quiet, but with lots to explore nearby. The house is immaculate, rules are clear & reasonable, and John is an excellent host: friendly and a great communicator. Plus the shower is great as advertised, and you can make French-press coffee in the kitchen. I'm sure we'll be back on our next trip.
Everything about this experience was great beginning with John the owner. We were 3 grown men staying for 3 nights. I've now stayed at Velo house twice, it's my go-to in Louisville. Great, quiet street and neighborhood walking distance to many cool spots too. Highly recommend.
John came through for us as another property ended up not existing and he was willing to take us last minute. He was super friendly and met us upon arrival to show us the house and tell us about the area. His house was extremely clean and in a great neighborhood where we could walk to different restaurants. He even had THREE ways to make coffee. I would definitely stay here again!!
Wonder place to stay!!! Clean and close to everything we wanted to do!! John was a great host and greeted us upon arrival!! Was available for any questions! We wanted somewhere not far from home, it was 3 hrs away. We did a food tour when we got into town! Then headed to Johns place nearby! Next day we volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House to make lunches of love in memory of my daughter who died in a car accident. We then headed to flame works to make a glass paper weight and topped it off with a great meal of Cuban food! Would definitely recommend staying at the studio!!!

My friend and I had such a pleasant and comfortable stay at Velo Studio Flat. John welcomed us warmly and gave us excellent recommendations for the neighborhood (Wiltshire Bakery was so good - I'm hungry right now for another Kati roll). We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and then curling up in the cozy studio to catch up and also look at all the books we bought at Carmichaels. :) The beds were comfortable, the shower is indeed outstanding (great pressure!), the check-in and check-out process was clear, and the home itself was full of thoughtful touches such as extra blankets in the closets and coffee, sugar & cream in the kitchen. Would totally stay here again.
We had an excellent stay at Velo Studio. The place is quiet and yet close to everything Louisville has to offer. Great if you are attending an event at the Old Forester's Paristown Hall as well. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you John!

This is a lovely clean wonderful little place right in a perfect location! The owner was great with recommendations. This owner will meet you at the door for check in and make sure you have everything you need. Be aware that part of staying there is being ok with him tending to his garden while you are there. He will text first to be sure you’re out and about but know this is a very involved owner. We loved our stay and would definitely return!

Thank you Jennifer, it was great having you and your friend. Thank you also for your understanding of my caretaking duties that include not only the garden but the yard and sidewalk which I try to keep up with to make it a beautiful and enjoyable place to be. Please come back and join us anytime!
We were looking for somewhere close to downtown Louisville and all it has to offer. John’s place was clean and super close to all things fun! He had great suggestions and was always helpful when we had a question. Would definetely stay there again!
We had a wonderful getaway for our anniversary! The bikes provided were so much fun and the perfect way to get around and experience the area. We enjoyed exploring the pedestrian bridge over the river, the Falls of the Ohio State Park, the Kentucky State Fair, and Cave Hill Cemetery, as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and nightlife on Fourth Street and just down the street from the house. There was so much to do within walking/biking/driving distance. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Perfect staycation!
Our stay at John's home was very enjoyable. The home was very clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds, extra blankets, great recommendations for food, fun and bike routes made the stay a winner. There is an outdoor venue for live music a block away which was fun! Lots of restaurants within walking and biking distance. John was a great host!
We had a great experience at Vélo. Took advantage of the bikes and were able to get everywhere we wanted super quick. Shower was amazing as well. Laundry always a plus as we were on a longer vacation. Great porch to hang
