Very quiet location with everything you need/want. Only issue is keeping the upstairs cool but we only needed 3 bedrooms so worked out perfectly. Nicely updated place. Would stay again.

Wonderful property. Very clean, comfortable cape cod style home in a very charming older neighborhood of Germantown, near downtown Louisville but also convenient (10-12 minutes) from the Kentucky Expo center and airport. Also convenient to a local park (Cherokee park) that is wonderful for outdoor recreation. This home matched our needs very well for 4 adults, and the hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this property to others and would stay here again.

Overall my family enjoyed our stay for 1 month. The home is setup well, had the basics covered, and was in a good location. The beds were comfortable, the living room is nice. The home is an old home and its showing its age but that is to be expected. A few things of note on the downside...the main stovetop microwave doesn't work which is also the exhaust fan so this makes cooking and warming foods more difficult. The stove/oven was in need of a good cleaning and the pans were in bad shape.Many of the doors, door knobs, are loose, dont latch, don't close/open well, and we had a closet door knob just fall off. None of this took away from our stay and we would stay again.

Quiet, central location and met our needs

Home met our needs for a long weekend trip with 4 adults. Beds were all comfortable and neighborhood is quiet and central. Didn't meet "excellent" expectation due to several cosmetic repairs that are needed.

Family vacation

This house was perfect for our family vacation in Louisville. We were traveling with 3 little kids and the home had comfortable bedrooms, it was quiet, and there was plenty of space in the living area to hang out and play and relax. The location worked out well- nearly everything is within 15 minutes. Would highly recommend!

A really good home.

Spacious for 4-6 people. Comfortable beds (4) and would stay again. Beware, if you access the hime from the front, there are challenging steps (not standard risers). Good access from rear of house.

Information on getting into the unit was sent the day before as advertised. The home is older and creaky but is comfortable. it is in a great location to get to everything in Louisville and near the major highways to get to other parts of the state

Great location with everything we needed!

This house was perfect for our family of 4. Everyone had their own room and comfy bed. We had space to chill and relax. The house is quaint and quirky and full of charm. And this Germantown area is awesome. We got to walk to bars, restaurants and a couple cute shops. Even walked to Logan Street Market. Going to Waverly Hills and the Mega Caverns were maybe 20-25 minutes away. Super easy by car. PS.. Don’t let the outside of this house/area fool you. We felt safe and secure even when we got there for check-in near midnight.

Highly recommend

As a frequent traveler to Louisville, I've stayed at dozens of rentals. This rental is one of my new favorites. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Neighbors were friendly and the home is well kept and clean. Parking for two vehicles was also available. The porch is relaxing and layout of the home allows for privacy as well as plenty of room living room and dining room for family time. Beds were cozy and master suite was spacious and private. Air conditioning in the master suite was also refreshing. to gatherasspace

Comfortable and Convenient

A group of 5 women. We were in town for a professional pool tournament so we weren't at the house a lot but the rooms were comfortable. The water pressure was excellent and hot and there were plenty of mirrors and towels for us all. The neighborhood seemed safe enough and there was plenty of street parking as well as the parking pad. The washing machine is locked in the basement which was unusual but I didn't need to use it so it wasn't an issue.

Wonderful Experience

This house is in a great little neighborhood. Very close to the zoo, expo center, race track, local bars, restaurants and shops. We were there for the Kentucky Derby. The backyard parking area for two cars is super convenient as the house sits off the road although street parking is also available. The bedrooms are a good size, comfortable beds and linens. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make quick meals. The upstairs bedroom and bath were very nice for me and my husband, our adult children slept in the downstairs bedrooms. We have a small grandchild with her caregiver who enjoyed the zoo and strolling the neighborhood. When we arrived the house seemed warm, I called the property manager and a repair person came promptly and fixed the issue. There were very nice gifts made by local artisans and a care package for a day at the races. My family and I were very pleased with the house.
