The beaches are beautiful. You will dine deliciously in the village or can enjoy the area if you have a rental car.

I had an excellent 1 month stay in this apartment. Everything was exactly like the photographs and was very clean. When i go away for a month I often need to buy piece of kitchen equipment but here everything was provided. Santa Luzia is a pretty, traditional fishing village with easy access to Tavira.

Everything was easy about stay. Clean, comfy bed, well stocked kitchen, excellent wifi, easy parking. Check out at 10:00 fairly inconsiderate. Pool could use umbrellas. Very nice stay.

Santa Luzia Hidden Gem

Great village, quiet, friendly. We were there in January and February but given the proximity to the beach, I am sure that the pace will pick up in the summer weather. You won’t be disappointed.

Santa Luzia Condo

The unit was very clean and comfortable. It's close to the heart of the village with great restaurants and the Mercado only a few minutes away. It was a great home base to explore the Algarve Region.

Santa Luzia

The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped . It is walking distance to everything, quiet and relaxed atmosphere, large private patio, with the ultimate BBQ, I cooked some of my best meals on it. Many restaurants in the area all of them top quality. Will stay there again, if you are planning to go to Portugal this is the place to stay.

Fabulous Townhouse

Santa Luzia is a quiet, pretty village with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops, all within easy walking distance from the condo. The condo is spacious, clean and very well equipped. We spent a month and loved it. Highly recommend this condo and hope to return one day.

Charming fishing village very near Tavira. Good location to visit east Algarve.

Lovely, large apartment with well stocked kitchen. Close to Tavira and Barril Beach on Ria Formosa Park. Manager very responsive but no English which was slight problem for us.

However, I always use a translator to answer. If you talk about Ermelinda on the spot, she actually doesn't speak English, but Portuguese, Spanish and French; not bad enough, right? To have people at your service who speak all languages, we recommend high-end hotels. It won't be the same price and your room won't be 100 square meters.

Lovely Santa Luzia

We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Santa Luzia. The apartment was bright, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The location was convenient- close to a local grocery store, restaurants and within walking distance to the beach, walking trails and Tavira. Underground parking, although listed as an amenity, was not available to us. Street parking was available just outside the door. During our stay, there was construction across the street. As it was only during the day, it was not a problem for us. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

The owner offered nothing, no soap, one toilet paper roll, no coffee...and make sure you clean before you leave.

Dear Kathy, Your message surprises me, you have everything you need and a small convenience store ready. And regarding cleaning, that's not true, we have it done and it is included in the rental price. However, we ask to remove the ashes from the BBQ and empty the trash cans. Sorry you didn't like our apartment because of that. You are the only one since we rented to give only 3 stars. I hope you will always rent apartments as beautiful as ours!

Great location, Santa Luzia is a piscatory village and still a bit inexplored unlike others locations in Algarve. The outside pool it's heated and it was perfect for our 2 years, 12 and 15 years old. The house was perfectly clean and had all to make our Stay very confortable. It has One hairdryer for each bathroom, dishwasher, washing machine and many more aplliances. Our 15 years old hurt himself on his feet and i had to use the SOS box and i could desinfect and treat his cut. Vincent e D. Ermelinda were very friendly and very responsive. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Great Trip!

Santa Luzia is a great little spot and the condo is in a prime location altho rental car a must to get around outside Santa Luzia....10 minute drive to Tavira (Market and Continente) and easy access to A 22. Short drive to Spain (Cadiz) and central to Sagres and VR de Santo Antonio. Park at Municipal Market and leave car there for walking trip into Tavira....Saturday Market in Tavira is a must but remember to be at the market before 9:00 AM Sif you want a parking spot (weekdays is more relaxed). A Barbearia do Jota best haircuts in Tavira. Praiia do Barril is an excellent beach and a nice walk from the condo (5-6KM round trip w/o train). Pro tips for owners: need a fish basket for the BBQ. need more comfortable loungers on the deck (hard plastic Ikea loungers don't cut it) need two cheap camp chairs for the beach (rental beds and shades way too expensive) loved the juicer!

Dear Patrick, For our part, we would have loved to discover our apartment immaculate since we had it completely repainted before your arrival. But that wasn't the case, you managed, in just one month, to make a few marks on the walls. We particularly appreciated the mosquito squashed on the wall above the headboard. Now, before rating a guest, we will survey our partners on site to make sure they deserve 5*****. That wasn't your case!!

Lovely village but accommodation needs some attention.

Information sent was totally inaccurate. Wifi specified by host and passwords were totally wrong. Requests to host for information about the area prior to arrival were brushed off. Hot water system required that you ran the water fir 5 to 10 minutes before it was hot enough to shower. Posting says underground parking which we were not provided. Indoor pool was not filled up enough to swim in it. Seating was inadequate. The couch was a pull out sofa which was broken and not attached so we could not push it into place We had to bring chairs from the patio in to sit comfortably. Microwave is old and lacking power.

I have just read your review and I am genuinely surprised by its content. Contrary to what you state, we noted several issues upon your departure: the bed sheets were in such a condition that they had to be discarded, the sofa was stained, and a corner of a wall was damaged by your husband’s wheelchair. Under these circumstances, I find your comment particularly unfair. The vast majority of our guests are very satisfied with their stay and regularly rate us 10/10. I felt it was important to set the record straight.

Lovely apartment in beautiful Santa Luzia

We have just spent a month in this lovely apartment. It is equipped with everything you need. We always travel with a set ofmoitchen implementation but didn't need any as we were supplied with everything we could need, even a sandwich maker and a stick blender. We had 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed ensure with an over the bath shower. The second with 2 single beds and an adjacent bathroom with a walk in shower amd two sinks. The wifi in arrival was a slow 8mb but 2 weeks into on stay it was upgraded to 200mb. TV was a large smart one about 43". The outside patio had a bbq but we never used it as the hob and oven were sufficient for our needs. The kitchen also has a microwave, toaster, kettle and a large fridge/freezer. There is a dining area in the apartment which we also used as an office set up. The patio also had a table and 4 chairs as well as two more low beach style chairs. The patio led straight to a communal indoor and outdoor pool. Air conditioning units are in both bedrooms and the main living area and are good and efficient when we needed them. Tha apartment is set a couple of streets back from the waterfront of Santa Luzoa but only a 7 mins walk to loads of restaurant choices. All in all a great stay and recommend highly.

Prachtig appartement in een heel leuk dorp( Santa Luzia)

Het is een prachtig appartement. Alles erop en eraan en schoon. Wij waren er in december, de zon komt dan niet op het balkon wat wel jammer was.

Het is een prachtig schoon en mooi verblijf, lekker ruim en de bedden sliepen ook perfect. Het binnenbad was ook heerlijk alleen jammer dat het buitenbad niet open was. In het appartement is echt van alles aanwezig. Heerlijke rustige buurt, en leuke restaurantjes waar je lekker kunt eten, we hebben gelijk weer geboekt. Groeten Ronald en Mayjoke vanuit Holland. É uma estadia lindamente limpa e bonita, agradável e espaçosa e as camas também dormiam perfeitamente. A piscina coberta também era adorável, só uma pena que a piscina externa não estava aberta. Tudo está realmente presente no apartamento. Adorável bairro tranquilo e bons restaurantes onde você pode comer bem, imediatamente reservamos novamente. Saudações Ronald e Mayjoke da Holanda. It is a beautifully clean and beautiful stay, nice and spacious and the beds also slept perfectly. The indoor pool was also lovely, just a pity that the outdoor pool was not open. Une location parfaite

Les Plus : L'appartement est particulièrement bien agencé, bien équipé. Ce fut très agréable d'y séjourner. De plus, nous n'avons pas eu besoin de louer de voiture car Ermelinda nous a adressé à Jorge qui nous a littéralement servi de "chauffeur"pour pratiquement tous nos déplacements sur place. Jorge à, pour nous, été le digne représentant de la très grande gentillesse et de la générosité des habitants de la région et nous a fait connaître des plages et sites incroyables. Encore Merci Jorge 🙏. Santa Luiza, quand à elle, est un tranquille village de pêcheurs qui a l'avantage d'être toute proche de notre plage préférée de ce séjour " Terra Estrella"... Bref, nos vacances en Algarve cet été furent idylliques. Les moins : la communication avant notre arrivée. Nous n'avons finalement eu les coordonnées de la location ainsi que les modalités d'arrivée que 48h avant notre arrivée. Nos messages restant sans réponse, nous avions même cru à un moment avoir affaire à une arnaque et avions contacté Abritel !!? 😂. Dernier petit point négatif, les horaires de départ. Merci de bien vouloir les harmoniser sur tous les documents qui nous sont communiqués. Sur l'un, il est indiqué 12h, l'autre, 11h30 et enfin un dernier à 10h ? Malgré ces petits défauts, cette location reste une très belle expérience car elle est vraiment agréable à y séjourner, spacieuse, propre, et encore une fois, exceptionnellement bien équipée. Merci.

Appartement top. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique d'Ermelinda et de son mari. Endroit extrêmement agréable pour passer de bonnes vacances et rayonné dans la region de l algarve. Tavira et Santa Luzia sont deux localités charmantes dans la tradition portugaise.
