NOTE: 7 night minimum in high season, 7/1-8/31; off-season 3 night minimum. Sleeps 6; 3 Bedroom (BR#1 - Queen Bed; BR#2 - 2 Twin Beds; BR#3 - 2 Twin Beds). 2 Full Baths/2 Half Baths; Enclosed Outdoor Shower. There are no reviews from summer 2020 because we didn't list our home for rent that year.

Experience authentic OLDE CAPE COD MAGIC! This charming 3 bedroom home is located in the gated neighborhood of Old Mill Point, one of the Cape's most prestigious private communities, and offers the use of a private beach with the warm waters of Nantucket Sound only steps down the street (4 houses away!). No packing the car for a day at the beach - just walk two minutes back to the house if you forget something! Old Mill Point is a quiet, exclusive, sea side area with private roads that are kid-friendly and great for biking/ walking /running, with fishing access from the association dock on Herring River.

Light filled and airy home with comfortable living room, huge kitchen with skylights and dining area, 3 bedrooms and a separate den - one bedroom with queen bed, two bedrooms with 2 - twin beds per room. Flat screen TV with Firestick (free use of Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, Showtime) in den, DVD player, cable and internet, books and games. Window A/C units in three bedrooms, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Welcoming patio with a partial water view, gas grill, a large yard for family activities like badminton and croquet (game sets provided) and a private, enclosed outdoor cedar shower. Please note that linens (sheets & bath towels) are not included in rental but pillows/blankets/bedspreads are included, as are beach towels. No smoking, no pets, no on-street parking per Old Mill Point Association by-laws, no garage access.

Harwich is a popular rural seaside summer get away destination. Located in the heart of the Cape, it is just 30 minutes from the bridges, 15 minutes to Hyannis and 30 minutes to Provincetown. The Cape Cod Rail Trail, the Cape's best and longest bike path, runs through town - bikers pass by salt marshes, cranberry bogs and delightful swimming ponds. There is a Cape Cod Baseball League Team in town where future major league stars play ball.

Harwich Junior Theatre provides wonderful entertainment with live plays for kids and parents alike. Fine dining, family entertainment and the best beaches anywhere!!

Great Location/Perfect Neighborhood for Families!

Our family had a great experience staying at this property. It was a quick walk to the beach, which was perfect for our two young children. The owner was always immediately accessible to answer our questions, and it was a great overall experience. We would highly recommend this place for families who are looking for the quintessential Cape Cope experience.

Great Cape Cod experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. Everything we needed was there. Walking down to the beach was a breeze. Neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood itself was quiet. Communication with Colleen was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

Loved this home!

My family and I were able to spend a wonderful week here. The home is extremely well maintained and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The beach closet with toys, chairs and other beach necessities was a wonderful touch, especially was we were traveling with children (ages 4,8). We made daily use of the beautiful beach, patio and outdoor shower and appreciated the quiet aspect of this neighborhood. It is obvious that this is a beloved home - we certainly felt blessed to be able to share it and can't wait to return.

We loved our stay in this comfortable home. It was the perfect size for our family of 5, and the easy walk to the private neighborhood beach cannot be beat. The neighborhood is beautiful and a quick drive to all that Harwich and Dennis Port have to offer.

Fantastic location and hosts

My family and I stayed here for a week in July. We had such a wonderful time. Colleen was very easy to communicate with and she sent us all details in advance to make our stay easy. The house was adorable and in a gorgeous neighborhood, just a minute (or less) walk from the beach. One of our favorite things was to walk around the neighborhood in the evening to admire the gorgeous sunsets and lovely homes. Would highly recommend!

A Slice of Heaven

This home offered all the comforts - 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths & and 2 half-baths, lots of comfy places to relax, inside and out, a well-outfitted kitchen, laundry, air conditioning, great wifi, beach towels and chairs, an outdoor shower, a gas grill, a notebook with suggestions of where to eat and where to visit on the Cape, and best of all, a short walk to the private beach on Nantucket Sound. The house was VERY clean and the owners, Colleen and Mike, were incredibly hospitable and helpful. All rental experiences should be this easy and pleasant!

Harwich Beach House

Our stay here was wonderful. Colleen and Mike were very easy to communicate with leading up to our vacation and provided a lot of helpful information about things to do in the area, amenities and extras kept on-hand at the house, nearby restaurants and things to do etc. We enjoyed the private, quiet neighborhood with easy beach access, and having the beach toys and chairs available was a plus. We also had fun renting bikes from a nearby business and riding a local trail. Overall the house was lovely and it made for a nice getaway. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Comfortable, Clean House 45 Second Walk to Beach

My family of four stayed at this house and loved it. Very spacious and well appointed with the things a family might need -- kitchen items, TV, WiFi, and lots of living space. The house is is very clean, too. Best thing, though, is the location. It's a 45 second walk to a private beach on the Nantucket Sound. Makes all the difference in the world to be able to take a short walk to the ocean. This location is also good for short drives to all kinds of restaurants, mini golf, and even a large suoermarket. For a family, I think this house is really an excellent choice. Also, Colleen, the owner, is very accessible and helpful if you need anything at all.

We absolutely loved our stay!!!! The house was wonderful: super clean, very well maintained, the kitchen was very well equipped, two really comfortable living rooms, having 4 bathrooms was really convenient, we loved grilling and eating on the patio every night, loved the outdoor shower etc...Colleen the owner was very helpful with everything, personally greeting us, telling us all about the area etc, she truly cared for our enjoyment and well being. She also stocked the beach closet with all the beach assessories, chairs etc that we could want, plus buckets, toys and inflatables for the kids... The association beach was perfect for us, less than a minute walk down the road, so easy and convenient for us and our kids to go back and forth as needed. I’d stress how nice it was having a private beach, really a pleasure to have so much space vs the packed public beaches....The association neighborhood was beautiful, very quiet, really nice neighbors and the association roads have no through traffic and were perfect for strolling or for our kids to be out on their own biking....The dock on the Herring River was a really nice spot to go and see the river and would be perfect to kayak from if you have a kayak. We loved it all and will be back!

Great location in a beautiful neighborhood, just steps from the beach.

Our three children loved the short walk to the private community beach! We grilled out on the new outdoor grill and ate several meals out on the back patio. The bedroom AC units kept it cool to sleep, and the ocean breezes kept the rest of the house cooled down despite the hot humid week of Cape Cod weather.
