Great accommodation in a fantastic Cape Cod location
My wife and 2 kids (10 and 8 years old) had a fantastic holiday at this lovely property in the centre of Cape Cod. The location is great with easy access to the various towns, beaches and attractions by car. Matt and Britt, the owners were really helpful through out. Our family loved the pool and all the games and activities provided in the house.

Neil and his family were clean and respectful, leaving the space in amazing condition. They communicated clearly and let us know about some easy opportunities to make things better for future guests.
It’s would be a pleasure to host them again in the future. A++
Our family had the nicest time in this well appointed home. Many hours spent swimming, s'more making and biking around town. The owners were very attentive and always available. We look forward to staying here in the future.

Melinda and her family were amazing guests. A++
Extremely clean and respectful of our home are just a few of the families attributes that stood out. Melinda’s communication was clear and friendly.
Would be happy to host them again anytime!
This was our second year at the Harwich house, and once again it was wonderful for our family (two grandparents, two parents, and kids 4 and 6). Everything about the house was clean and convenient. Comfortable bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and outdoor space. The backyard pool and location near park, bike trail, and restaurants made this house perfect for us.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Matt and Britt’s home. It’s incredibly beautiful and comfortable & the location cannot be beat. The backyard is a blast and some days we opted for pool days over beach because that’s how nice the outdoor space is! The communication with Matt was phenomenal and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches the hosts left such as a wonderful bottle of wine and delicious jam! We highly recommend this home.
Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful cape home. Super close to beach, bike trails, grocery store, go karts, restaurants and shops. Matt and Britt were very helpful and available for anything we needed. Our kids loved the pool and outdoor shower.
Thank you so much we will definitely rent this home again when we return to Harwich.
Wonderful property! Matt and Brittain have continually improved the quality of the property and rental experience over the three years that we have stayed there. They have thought of everything to ensure a pleasant and convenient stay. In addition, the location is close to shops, restaurants, park with playground, tennis, and pickleball, the bike trail, and Harwich Mariners ball field. The backyard pool is perfect for us and our grandchildren.

We have loved hosting Warren and his family the past few years. They are respectful, kind and treat the property like their own. Being that we are a stones throw from so many fun cape activities seems to make people come back year over year. :) Looking forwarded to next year!
My wife, myself, my in-laws, and my 6mo old daughter really enjoyed our week at Matt and Britt’s special home. They’ve done a thorough and thoughtful job renovating a classic old home, and it perfectly blends antiquity and modern comfort. The location is great, able to walk to a few eateries and parks, and the beaches nearby are beautiful. We’re already thinking about next year. Thank you!
This was our second summer at Harwich House. It was already beautiful but the upgrades that were made over the winter made it even lovelier. The kitchen is fully stocked and spacious, the pool is great, as is the screened in porch. Even when the weather doesn't cooperate, it's a wonderful place to spend the day. Proximity to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, beaches and town are added benefits. In short: a great place to spend a week at the Cape.
Impeccable is the only way to describe the owners, the house, and everything in between! Everything and anything you need is there. Short walk to Harwich center, the lavender farm, to bustling brooks field with every sport court. Central to plenty of restaurants, mini golf and beaches. The design and craftsmanship of this historical antique is absolutely beautiful, yet has every modern amenity you could hope for. Cozy is an understatement, it felt like home. Matt and Britt have clear pride of ownership and were the best hosts, like no other we have experienced renting on the Cape.

Shelby and her family were the best. We love it when guest just get us and our home to the point where it naturally feels like an extension of their home. Probably one of the reasons we have so many repeat guests. That being said, we would have Shelby and her lovely family back again any time and would recommend them to other hosts looking for guests that are nothing short of amazing! :)
We have stayed at this property for a week during 3 of the past 4 summers. The house just keeps getting better (as the owners have updated the property every year)! The house itself is very accommodating, comfortable and inviting! We love the decor which enhances the house in a rustic but also modern way. The pool area is a major plus and allows you to choose between beach days and poolside days…we often mix both and end up reading on the screened in porch. We’ve look forward to visiting again!!!
We also love communicating with the owners who are always responsive and friendly!
We had a wonderful vacation at Matt and Britt's beautiful antique home in Harwich! The enclosed porch and pool were the perfect place to relax and the kids had hours of entertainment. We traveled with 2 adults and children age 17, 12, and 10 and there was more than enough space for everyone. It is the best stocked house we have ever stayed in and all we had to bring was food, drinks, and bikes. The treats provided upon arrival were enjoyed by all! Matt was great to communicate with and answered all of our questions before the trip and while we were there. We definitely want to stay here again in the future!
My family had a wonderful time at this property. It’s in a wonderful location on Cape Cod and is near multiple beaches and towns. While there, we visited Chatham, Barnstable, Dennis and went for dinner in PTown. The house is clean, well maintained and feels homey.
The owners are responsive, friendly, and were a pleasure to communicate with. The few questions we had were answered quickly and with a virtual smile. Our refund was returned in full and quickly.
We would certainly recommend this property and hope to rent it again in the future.

Jerry and and his family were an absolute pleasure and great guests. 100% A+ and would recommend them to anyone looking for 5 star guest.
We had a slight issue at checkin with the key being left inside by the previous tenant, but Jerry communicated clearly and with some built in contingency plans, the issue was resolved in a matter of minutes.
The house was left in great condition which was greatly appreciate!
Looking forward to having you guys stay again next summer. :)
This was our first time staying at the Harwich House, and the home and our experience was pure magic. The owners have taken care to beautifully restore their historic home and have anticipated all the details which made our stay relaxing and comfortable. From the moment you step inside the home, you feel like you like you are on vacation. It is thoughtfully furnished with a mix of antiques and modern furniture and lighting- coastal and serene. The salt water pool was our little oasis and we spent a lot of time hanging by the pool and grilling after long days on the beach. The hosts left us a creative welcome gift including jam from their farm, and Matt was very friendly and available in case we had any questions or needed dinner recommendations. We will definitely be back to visit next year!
Our family had a wonderful, restful and luxurious week at Matt and Britt’s well appointed and beautiful home. Matt and Britt welcomed us with a thoughtfully curated basket of welcome gifts with something for everyone in our party, including our youngest 7 month old. Although we were visiting the cape during the busy summer season our vacation rental was the oasis we hoped it would be. The pool afforded us lazy days of family fun. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple and delicious meals including a classic lobster dinner. And we enjoyed long nights drinking cocktails and playing games on the amazing screened in porch. The house was quiet and felt private and secluded while still being accessible to amenities and sights. We would absolutely rent this house again the only thing we would change would be to stay for 2 weeks.5 stars and a chefs kiss.
Booked early to relieve our family from our year long pandemic isolation and specifically for the pool. This treasure was beautifully appointed and landscaped, meticulously clean, fully stocked and certainly worth the wait! Quiet location with bike and walking trail access through the back yard and local markets, quaint library and restaurants a short stroll away. The salt water pool was a dream! Most of our time was spent lounging on the breezy screened porch and the ping pong table in the garage was so fun. Matt is the "host with the most" always on hand and nothing left to chance. We look forward to our return !!!

Fran and her family were a pleasure and what everyone wants from a guest. From our first contact at booking to check out they were kind and respectful, asked important questions and utilized the house documents provided to answer all the day to day questions.
Wonderful Cape Cod home for our family vacation, slept 4 adults and 2 kids comfortably. Our 6 year old and 4 year old loved the pool and walking to the neighborhood playground that was just 1 block away. Nice location that was a jumping off point to other cape destinations. Pool was a little chilly in the mornings but owners mentioned that pool heater was coming in 2023. Weather was warm at the end of August and we did use the air conditioners in the bedrooms at night. Great communication from owners who were available to answer any questions. Beds and pillows were comfortable for everyone. Highly recommend!
My experience with Matt + Britt was by far my best in many years of home rentals. Their home is beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and in a wonderful location. You have all that you need at your fingertips, and nothing you don't. The house is close to beach, bars and shops, but a quiet and peaceful oasis when home.
Their communications from beginning to end are clear and helpful, warm and welcoming. Overall they enhance your vacation experience in every way.
Beautiful house! Our family had such a wonderful time in this house! We have vacationed in Cape Cod several times and this was our first stay at this location. It did not disappoint! Our kids loved the pool and spent most day swimming. The location was great for exploring all areas of the cape. The hosts were so gracious and helpful and made us feel so welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend this house!
Exceptional stay in a unique and beautiful property
We had an amazing family vacation at this lovely home. We so enjoyed the screened-in porch, saltwater pool, proximity to the Cape Cod biking trail as well as the well-appointed kitchen and furnishings. The fresh hydrangeas were a lovely touch that speaks to the attention to detail throughout. Matt was incredibly thoughtful and responsive. We would definitely return again and recommend it to others.
Beautiful spot on the Cape! This property has it all. It was sparkling clean, full of towels, gorgeous pool!! Close to everything we love. Matt was super responsive and able to help with anything we needed. We would definitely rent here again and really enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful home and yard in a great neighborhood! Close to park and playground, bike trail, other attractions. Backyard salt water pool made this the perfect vacation spot for our three-generation family. House is a very comfortable space, well-equipped and maintained. Owners very responsive! We will return next year!
Nothing but compliments here for Matt and Britt. From the moment we inquired to the moments after we checked out and even today, they were Always available to answer questions, make our stay perfect and offering recommendations. Beautifully renovated home, pool, screened porch, roomy and lots of details to make the stay like being at home. Walking distance to Town and close to the rail trail and all around the Cape. Highly recommend this property except when we want to rent. Love all the attention to detail.

About the host
Hosted by Matt & Brittain
Hi there!
Matthew Finkle is a native New Yorker, who grew up in the Hudson Valley and Brittain Sullivan-Finkle was born in Massachusetts, and has lived in just about every corner of the country. We met in Boston over a decade ago, and while we have long since moved to New York City for work, we have an extraordinary fondness for The Cape where both of us spent a lot of our best childhood summers. In the summer of 2018, we set anchor in the small town center of Harwich, Massachusetts, and we could not be more thrilled to invite you to visit our summer home here.
We have been renovating the home bit by bit each year, and love to surprise our repeat guests with the new updates each summer.
We look forward to lots of warm summer days spent lounging in the pool or cooking with friends and family, and riding our bikes around town and, of course, to the beach, and hope that you will love our 1920 salt house as much as we do!
Best,
Matt and Britt
