Unbeatable location at the center of Gulf Shores beach life! Once you unpack your car, put your keys away till its time to go home! NO MORE SAND IN YOUR CAR! Our Condo is only 2 blocks from the end of Highway 59 (the “T”). Take a right on west Beach Blvd and the second right you will arrive at your "Gem at the Beach". The new Gulf Place is our front yard.

Southwinds is a VERY low-density complex with only 12 units. Most are privately owned or personally rented out by the owners. It is a wonderful and warm group of people that have become part of our extended family. The location is ideal because the beach is right across the street, and once you are done for the day walking to everything else is so easy too! It is the perfect place to bring your family & friends!

Walk to over 10 restaurants/bars like The Hangout, Pink Pony, Shrimp Basket, Bahama Bobs, Papa Rocco’s, (less than 5 minute walk). We are also directly across the street from the new Burro Azul.

Shopping is also with in walking distance!

Enjoy stunning views of the beautiful white sandy beaches and the Gulf of Mexico from the front and back decks. The large front deck with a table, chairs and umbrella is perfect to enjoy the gulf views and salt air while you enjoy your meal with your family, and friends! The back deck is wonderful for a quiet retreat with an amazing view.

If you have ever been to the Hangout Music Festival, our condo is directly across from the main stage! Sit on the front deck and enjoy the music for free. We are one of the only condos INSIDE THE VENUE! *NO SHUTTLE PASSES TO PURCHASE, NO BIKES TO LOCK, NO LONG WALKS!*

Shrimp festival in October- simply sit on the back deck to enjoy the music or take a short walk to the stages and festivities. *NO WORRIES ABOUT PARKING OR TRAFFIC!*.
The unit sleeps 4 in beds but can hold up to 6 if you utilize the couch and twin cot mattress. You can also bring an air mattress, if you choose.

Bedroom 1: King size bed(sleeps 2), Flat screen Samsung TV, Walk in closet, plenty of storage

Bedroom 2: Queen size bed(sleeps 2), Flat screen Samsung TV, Walk in closet, plenty of storage

Links to sites for umbrella, chair, bike and kayak rentals are located in the hospitality manager.
Owners also have chairs, cart and umbrella available for rent. Message owners for obtaining code to the storage area and to submit payment.

This is a great place to stay. It’s close to the beach and the center of everything. We walked most of the time. The only negative is the pool depth was only 4 feet, which would be great for kids.

Had to make a business trip to work at client's site and only a few blocks away from location. Liked it so much, we tried to get an extra few days in for fishing. Very nice and very clean!

Great location and nice condo! Short walk to the beach. Just across the street. Close to many restaurants and things to do. There is some construction going on behind the condos but it really only bothered us one early morning with the sound. Flat screen tv in both bedrooms and living room was nice. Beds are comfortable. Great host!

Perfect Location! Wonderful condo!

Condo was easy to find. You only have to walk across the street to the beach. You can walk to pizza, gift shops, The Hangout and multiple other locations so you really don’t need to drive once you arrived. We stayed for a softball tournament and it was a prime location to the Sportsplex. We only used the pool one time but it’s there in case you need it. Felt very safe! We rented chairs from the owner for the week which was super convenient. Beds were very comfortable. Fridge was large. Washer and dryer were helpful too. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is outstanding, close to everything and very accommodating, clean with friendly neighbors. we have stayed there in the past and that is why we went back. Unfortunately, for the entire time we were there, 18 days there was heavy construction right nexr door, every day from 0630 until 1830. With that being said, we would still go back,

Summer Vacation

Overall me and my girls loved this property. It was nice, neat, and fully equipped. Absolutely loved the location. It was around everything.The beach was practically at the front doorstep. Just a few steps across the street and there lays the beach. Just a quick walk down the street is The Hangout and more. Me and more girls really enjoyed scenery that we walked everywhere until it was time to go to the water park. The next time we visit the beach we will definitely look into this property again.

Great Location/Cleanest Place Ever

I don’t ever leave reviews but this place deserves one. We have never stayed “across the street from the beach” and I was leary but this was Wonderful. Beach access was much closer and easier than staying in a condo on the beach. No elevators was the best part. Close to everything, could walk everywhere. We’ve stayed in some nice places but this was the cleanest condo I have ever been in. Whoever does the cleaning deserves a bonus 😊. The owners were very kind and easy to work with.
