About this property

Best location in Gulf Shores, across from Gulf Place. Hidden gem with new rates!

Southwinds Condo unit has two bedrooms and 1.5 baths. One bedroom has a king size bed, the other has two full size beds.
Over 1,100 square feet, very spacious and recently remodeled.
Great location in the middle of everything. The new Gulf Place is our front yard! Condo is 2 blocks from the 'T'. Park your car and never have to leave. Walk to the 'Hangout', the 'Pink Pony', the 'Shrimp Basket', 'Bahama Bobs', 'The Steamer', just to name a few. A GREAT view of the beautiful white sand beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. Shopping is also all within walking distance.
Large front deck with table and chairs where you can just sit back and look at the gulf or watch the beautiful sunsets . Easy walk to the beach, just cross the street and your toes are in the sand. Our condo is on the corner of Beach Blvd. and 2nd St.
Most public activities are on the beach directly in front of our condo. All you have to do is just cross over, no driving/parking hassles. Or, if you prefer you can just sit on the front deck with a cold drink and listen to the music and watch the people go by. It's GREAT!! The city of Gulf Shores has completed Phases 1 and 2 of Gulf Place.
There is a pool at the north end of the condo unit. The pool is closed from October to April of each year.

Perfect location in Gulf Shores!

My husband and I and our teenage daughter stayed here for three nights, and it was the perfect location for us! The beds were comfortable, and it had everything that we needed! We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were in Gulf Shores. Also, communication with the hosts was very quick, and they were quite accommodating.

Family Vacation

Lived up to its billing as an ideal location. Was able to walk to just about everything that we wanted to and even when a drive was necessary, it was central enough to make it easy. Clean and well kept. We will absolutely be trying to stay here again next year.

Amazing Location

This unit was very clean and the location right across from beautiful white beach wad unsurpassed. We walked to various places. The night life was entertaining while sitting on the front deck every night.

Gulf Shores Condo Review

We loved the condo and enjoyed our stay. Great location and the condo is nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Would have given this 5 stars if dishes and silverware were cleaner. Also no dishwasher tabs or dish soap were provided. We would definitely stay again!

Birthday getaway

Took my granddaughter to OWA water park in Foley, AL. It was the perfect location. Just a short drive to the water park and just steps away from the beach. I got the best of both worlds. Everything was clean and really I didn’t have to buy anything but food. Would love to come back and stay here. Thank you!

Great location. Great communication from property owners. Unfortunately the condo has a strong human urine smell downstairs. Sandy floors upstairs. Huge cockroach running across the living room floor and a centipede on one of the pillows that my daughter was sleeping in!

Perfect spot for our family to enjoy the beautiful beach!

We had an awesome long weekend for our first visit to Gulf Shores and the South Winds condo was perfect for us! So close to the beach, literally pack up and walk down one flight of stairs and across the street. Right down the block from shopping, restaurants, ice cream, etc. Our kids enjoyed eating breakfast on the front patio table and swam in the condo pool for a break from the sand and waves! Loved being able to do laundry, make a few easy meals in the kitchen, and park our car right down the one flight of stairs for super easy access to come and go. Condo is very clean, has most everything you could need, and location can’t be beat!

the place was great , I have been to gulf shores many times. The location is excellent. We walked on the beach every night . Walked up and down the strip. The place was a little small for my family but we managed.

Amazing Location!

We loved our stay at this property! It was clean and well taken care of. It’s proximity to the beach was so convenient; your toes are in the sand within 2 minutes of walking out the door. We also loved that we could comfortably walk to everything in town. We’d definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location, Fantastic Rental!

Our stay at this property was awesome! The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Just steps away from the beautiful white sand Gulf shores and in the center of all the attractions! We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this one definitely gets 5 stars! The owners are extremely nice and made everything so smooth for our trip! We are already planning our next trip and will be staying here again!

Excellent Location and Rental Property

We had an amazing trip! This property is in the perfect location, walking distance to everything and right across from the beach. The condo is modern, was very clean and the owners are extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this location to family and friends.
