Oceanfront w/Amazing Views and Beach Access~ Sea Palm

One of Folly's Best! This 4 bedroom 3.5 bath two-story oceanfront home is located just five blocks west of Center Street. Sea Palm is a slice of heaven on a narrow lot! An extremely comfortable home for up to 8 guests. Downstairs you will find two queen bedrooms, one bunk room with four twin beds, and the washer and dryer. One of the queen rooms even has views of the ocean, a Smart TV, and an en-suite bath. The last queen room is found upstairs also with an en suite bath. Aside from this bedroom upstairs is completely open with the kitchen dining and living room blending nicely together. There is a large Smart TV with YoutubeTV in the living room. You can enjoy the sights of the ocean from this open space and a screened patio or the sun deck. Sea Palm also has an outdoor shower as well as a place to just rinse your feet off after your beach walk. There is a charcoal grill and a porch swing downstairs too. Grill use: charcoal and cleaning responsibility of the guest. This property comes with parking for three cars in the driveway. Sea Palm allows a maximum of 3 dogs, with a combined weight of up to 80lbs. (Pre-approval is required, and fees apply. Please don't hesitate to contact us directly for additional information)

Great Rental Property

Enjoyed the location and appreciate you renting this out for other's to experience, lot's of great memories made while relaxing at the beach, exploring Folly and of course visiting Charleston which is about 15 Minutes away.

family getaway

Had a great time at this property. It is within walking distance of downtown Folly Beach. It is right on the beach and very convenient. Highly recommend. The upstairs airconditioning was a little slow but not bad. The weather had just shifted from cold to hot so that is understandable. I would stay again and highly recommend it.

Comfortable, pleasant house

There are many thoughtful touches that make staying here comfortable and pleasant. The house seems like it was completely renovated in the last couple of years. It's better for 4-6 people.

Great Location!

This property was perfect for my husband and sons getaway. They were able to bring their dog, and enjoyed the screened in porch to look at the amazing ocean view every day. Check in was a breeze, Greg communicated before and during stay. Thank you, my family will be staying here again.

great beachfront stay in January

The house was perfectly located and laid out for our family of 3 generations. Access to the beach was easy and the house's living room, screened porch, and deck overlooked the dunes and the small distance to the beach and ocean. We could listen to the surf from inside and enjoy the sunrise and dolphins. The kitchen was well-appointed.

Lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is great, we walked to dinner via the beach our first night. We got unlucky with weather (rain) during our stay, but our kids still had a blast walking on the beach and collecting shark teeth. Can’t beat being right on the beach! A boardwalk over the dune would have been helpful for the little ones. The proximity to Charleston is nice too. This was our first trip to Folly - we will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed this rental. It was very clean and well equipped with whatever you may need (except a kuerig coffee maker lol). Perfect for adult and teens, maybe not so much for small children. Overall great experience.

Beautiful ocean view

This property is one of the best rentals we have had on Folly. The nano door is a game changer. It makes the living room a spot to be—just like a great screened porch. The only downside is a not so well appointed kitchen—an easy fix with a couple of new frying pans.

Even better than we expected. Great stay!

Our group of 4 adults and 4 children had a great stay at Sea Palm—clean, thoughtfully designed, brightly decorated, and a well-cared for property. It looks smaller than many beach houses, but we had all the space we needed: plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, storage, places to sit, etc. The screened in porch and outside deck was wonderful. Plenty of outdoor places to hose off the sand after being on the beach, including an outdoor shower. Kitchen was great with plenty of dishes, some pots and pans, etc. I’m glad I brought my extra large T-fal skillet though. We cooked a lot of our meals. The only thing that would make this property even nicer is a boardwalk to the beach.

Excellent communication and accommodations

Property was very clean, had lots of room, and the location was unbeatable - just a few steps to the beach and you could watch the sunrise from the porch. Check-in was easy and check-out was just as simple. There wasn’t a long list of things to do before you could leave. In addition, my husband had a medical emergency and the ambulance was called. Within minutes I received a call from Folly’s Best checking on us because a team member had spotted emergency vehicles outside of the house. They offered to have food delivered and made sure we had nothing to worry about for the remainder of our stay. Without going into too much detail, they took excellent care of us and made accommodations for us for the remainder of our stay.

Outside very disappointing

Everything was smooth and easy until we got there. The property is not taken care of outside. The path to the beach is over grown. All of us had cuts and goat heads in/on our feet. The area closest the house was full of overgrown weeds covering the walk ways. Not to mention the screen was torn and flapping in the winds. The inside of the house is good for an older home. The house is in a good location. The property manager was responsive. For the amount of money we paid I expended a little better condition.

Great Location/Layout - Amenities Misleading

Overall we had a good stay, location and layout were great. Rated a 4 but if I was able I would have scored a 3.5 Upon arrival the recycle bin had bags in it, we emptied them but the pickup schedule must not have been correct, only bin on the street and not picked up twice. Also, I have rented many beach homes and this is the only one that didn't have beach towels or chairs so we were not able to fully enjoy the beach, there should be a disclaimer. Separately, the amenities on VRBO list "smart TVs" and dish network but the TVs were very dated and only had a list of 10 old apps, no ability to log into our own apps or screen mirror and the dish network had child restrictions so many of the available channels could not be watched without a 4 digit passcode that was not provided (a $30 roku would resolve these issues). Additionally, there was a lack of bath towels/cloths, the seating indoors and outdoors was highly uncomfortable, no food storage, and despite being small people ourselves the showers were so tiny you would need to be a contortionist to shave your legs. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable, the grill and outdoor shower were handy, as well as the washer/dryer. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean when we arrived but the living area floors were dirty with sand and pet hair and there were open spices attracting bugs, thankfully I brought my own vacuum. Appreciated the home but there are many simple opportunities for improving the experience. Thank you!

Sea Palm stay

We had a great time - process of booking and paying was easy. Great communication and timely response to one question we had about the TV- sent someone out quickly and took care of the inquiry. House is clean and well stocked and view was amazing! Parking is a little tight as the driveway is split by a tree but it was just my wife and I in one vehicle so no problem for us. There is no yard to speak of for pet owners like us but we simply walked to the neighboring streets for potty breaks. It is beachfront after all and we had no issue but other pet owners may be looking for green space. Over all we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend the home to others. Would stay here again!

Great Place But Very Expensive

Loved the property and the accommodations were just what my group needed. However, the price quoted on the website ended up being double for my stay. Highly recommend paying close attention when booking through this rental company - LOTS OF EXTRA FEES!

Amazing beachfront property!

This house was perfect for our June family vacation with grandparents, our teenagers and our dog. The beach access is beautiful - it’s the perfect beach…not crowded at all. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location in relation to the town was perfect.

Cute cottage that was clean and well appointed

Loved the Sea Palm at Folly Beach! The outside decks were our favorite with the beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay and our fur babies had a blast! The house was clean and comfortable with lots of room and had everything we needed.
