This house is packed with personality and charm. It has a walk in pantry and TONS of kitchen space! It is quite comfortable for a couple with two children. There is a bedroom with a queen size bed, and a living area with a futon sleeper. It is set on a quiet road with a train track nearby. it is a great and beautiful area for your morning walk or jog! There is great parking and more available for a boat in the back of the property (just make arrangements with the owner prior to make sure you are not blocking others.) We are 15 minutes from both Geismar and Baton Rouge. We are 5 minutes from Blue Bayou Water Park. We are about 15 minutes from Fred's Boat Launch, Weather you are here to work for your company or to fish the many waters in the area we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us in this adorable clean and tiny home. Amenities include: Dishes, Glasses and flatware, towels, toaster, Keurig Coffee maker, mixer, pots and pans, baking sheets, bowls, microwave, bath towels, hair dryer, clean sheets, TV with cable, and basic supplies. There is a small outdoor grill and a large porch to relax on. The yard behind the house is large enough for a football game or a great place to have an outdoor picnic. Outdoor chairs are available through the owner.

Home away from home

This was perfect for our stay. We cooked nearly every meal at the house. It was nice to stay connected with those in the living room while we cooked. We watched TV and just hung out when we weren't exploring the area or at soccer games. Super easy to get around and walmart wasn't far.

Scary Encounter

Had problem with entering property. Then had neighbor attempt to break in on us that night. Called 911. Police responded quickly. But still felt unsafe to stay there. Sought other lodging.

I came in for a short visit for Kids and Grand kids. The location was convenient and easy access to BTR, New Orleans. The kitchen is well equipped. The property manager was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect getawaay

Very nice, tidy little cottage. I was worried about the railroad, but it was not too close and only added to the ambiance. great area to walk. Close to Baton Rouge, but not too close. Very quiet neighborhood, but only 10 minutes from a nice grocery and Starbucks. Comfortable queen bed, and a nice shower. Great kitchen but we didn't end up cooking because of all the restaurants we wanted to try out. Perfect getaway for us!
