Perfect alternative to an expensive hotel room without giving up luxury or location!
Located in the wonderful and trendy Chueca Neighborhood. All new, completely renovated apartment, with all modern amenities and elevator. Very close to Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia Museums and the Palacio Real (Royal Palace). A few steps away from the Gran Via. Near Malasaña and the Barrio de las Letras. The mercado de San Anton, which has a large selection of gourmet stands and restaurants, is at the end of the street, and there are several trendy, beautiful, and also classic, traditional, Spanish restaurants nearby.

The apartment is on the second floor, facing the street, with an elevator and also a wide beautiful staircase. It has 2 balconies with large windows that open and allow lots of natural light in and wooden floors.

The apartment has a king size bed (1.80m x 2.00m ), with all white, fluffy linens, plus an additional sofa bed in the living room. It has a very nice bathroom with a huge shower. Lots of light and smack dab in the middle of all the happening places. The bedroom is open to the rest of the apartment. You can see it well in the pictures.

It has a modern, fully equipped kitchen with everything you might need in case you decide to stay in and cook.

The apartment has a fiber optic Internet connection for extremely fast WiFi and a 40" Sony Smart TV.

I really want my guests to feel at home when they are in one of my apartments. I would love for them to feel At Home in Madrid.

What a GREAT apartment in such a GREAT neighbourhood. The apartment is so lovely and well-designed and has everything one needs. My wife and I loved just hanging out here.It's also in an unbeatable location. Chueca is fabulous. A great base in Madrid. And Gorete is such a friendly, helpful and attentive host. It was A REAL PLEASURE to stay here.

We loved our stay here. The area is so trendy. We walked to the royal palace and to the Prado, museum of archaeology and the park. There were several supermarkets within walking distance, and a lot of restaurants. We ate local on several occasions. The apartment is modern, very comfortable, we did not want for anything. We were able to do laundry with the washer/ dryer, we could watch Netflix in English, we could cook, the bathroom was spacious, the bed was comfortable. Gorete sent us a fab document on her stay in Madrid with excellent suggestions. We loved our stay. Loved the high ceilings, the half timbered wall, the massive French doors and Juliet balconies. Check in was easy. Love, love, love. Would stay here again.

Most enjoyable stay

Location close to metro and plenty of eating options nearby. If you chose to eat in the kitchen was well equipped. The entire apartment was clean and comfortable. And I really appreciated how our hostess sent us all our “need to know” information early. She also had a great info package with all the appliance manuals and helpful tourist suggestions. 100% - “would stay here again”.

Beautiful apartment! Perfect Location!

First of all, communication with the host was great prior to and during check in which we were allowed to do the morning we arrived. The apartment is beautiful, including a nice kitchen, washer/dryer, spacious living room with floor to ceiling windows that let in perfect lighting.The big bed is quite comfortable and the bathroom was nice! The location is within easy walking distance to so many local attractions and great restaurants! We walked to Retiro Park, Gran Via, Plaza Mayor, Prado Museum, many markets and local shops. And finally, it’s close to the train station which made it easy for us on the day we traveled to Barcelona. I will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful

From the time we arrived and they let us check our bags early til when we left this was the perfect place to stay. The location is perfect for walking to everything you could want to see in town. I highly recommend this location!

This apartment is a great combination of a restoration with all modern conveniences & comforts. Great kitchen, bath & comfy bed in this roomy apartment. The host is outstanding at communicating & providing excellent recommendations via the app & in her thorough guidebook. The location in Chueca neighborhood is outstanding. Close to so many sights that 1st time visitors want to see as well as great many restaurants & bars. It is in easy walking distance of Parque Retiro, 2 metro stops, Gran Via, the big 3 museums & Puerto del Sol. Plaza Major & Mercado San Miguel are not far. Its convenience is a great location for those returning to Madrid as well. Check out a great brunch/lunch place Bucolico, Casto Coffee/bakery, & Taberna Carmencita all around the corner or just down the street. Modern Mercado San Anton, also down the street, is a great market with large grocery, great vendors & several excellent places for tapas.

Great location for absorbing Madrid fully

The apartment is great to be a Madridian. We really enjoyed the location able to walk too many locations, including the Prado museum and so much great food within walking distance we are walkers and discovered that we walked over 7 miles each day supermarket two blocks away very comfy accommodations.

Perfect apartment in perfect location

We really enjoyed our week in this generously appointed apartment. Communication with the owner is easy and quick. She kindly let us stay much longer on departure day because our flight was moved to the evening. The apartment is in the middle of the lively Chueca neighborhood but quiet. The bed is very comfortable, as is the shower.We will book this place again and can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Couldn't have been happier.

Gorete is a fantastic host, and the apartment is everything you could need for a stay in Madrid. It's in a wonderful location that allows you to walk to all the major sights, and there are plenty of supermarkets and lovely restaurants within 5 minutes of the apartment.

Why they chose this property

This apartment is full of light and in one of the most popular neighborhoods in Madrid. A minute away from the Gran Via, our Madrid "Broadway". You can walk to the Prado, the Thyssen and to most of the intersting places that our city has to offer. It's surrounded by places to eat, have a glass of wine and have fun. You will love our apartment and our location.
