About this property
Luxury Mountain Cabin On 320+ Acres Near Asheville, Lake Lure & Hendersonville
Fabulous, secluded, luxury cabin retreat and mountain preserve in Western North Carolina located near Lake Lure and nestled behind Chimney Rock State Park in Bat Cave, NC. Diamond Falls Preserve sits on over 320+ (and growing) sprawling acres of mountain terrain with access to private hiking trails and waterfalls. This luxury log cabin and surrounding preserve has all you need to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings with friends and family.
The space
Diamond Falls Preserve offers guests access to a variety of onsite outdoor activities, which include miles of extensive hiking options, a field, a private, seasonally stocked trout pond, a phenomenal hot tub deck overlooking the rushing mountain streams, plenty of outdoor seating and dining options, a stone fire pit and multiple rock patios, dramatic rock outcroppings, foosball, disc golf in the field, and star-gazing at night. Or, you could just curl up with a book inside the cabin in front of a crackling fire!
Guest access
Guests staying at Diamond Falls Preserve are able to enjoy everything the 320+ acre preserve has to offer, including the main cabin (sleeps 14), the bunk house (sleeps 6), the hot tub, all decks, the seasonally stocked trout pond, miles of private hiking trails, the field, the outdoor rock patios and the fire pit. Please note: In the Main Cabin, there are two full bathrooms, one on each floor. Bedroom #4 upstairs in the Main Cabin is a loft-style bedroom with a Queen bed and offers limited privacy. The Bunk House above the three car garage is detached from the Main Cabin, sleeps 6 guests in beds with an open floor plan and has a half bath with a toilet and sink. A private outdoor shower is available weather permitting from April - October. Guests are unable to access the garage; however, there is plenty of parking on site.
Other things to note:
Diamond Falls Preserve is located on a private, gravel road that dead ends in to the property. The property has a gated stone entrance. For security and safety considerations, please inform your guests that security cameras located on the front porch are visible and actively monitor the front entryway and driveways. The mailbox is located almost 1/2 mile away from the gated entrance. Deliveries are usually left at the mailbox located near the blue barn on your way up the gravel road. The property is surrounded by natural beauty in every direction and large tracts of undeveloped land. Please be respectful of private property not owned and operated by Diamond Falls Preserve -- please do not enter private driveways or hike on private property.
