Absolutely adorable cabin that is conveniently located in Hendersonville. We loved the cabin itself as well as the breezeway (which really opens up the space).
this is the cutest cabin. host were awesome. cabin was very clean. enjoyed the outside area. flowers were so pretty. enjoyed the hot tub. you will love this cabin
Take our grandee to camp and stay over to see besties in arean
Patrick and Diane are just SUPER all the way around. We have stayed in 2 of their 3 cabins (super deluxe) and will stay in the third next summer. Convenient to everything, yet private among their beautiful flowers and trees.
This cabin is really beautifully appointed, and there's no lack of attention to detail with everything. I thinks it's perhaps the nicest furnished kitchen that we've ever stayed in as far as appliances and everything else. Everything was super clean and cozy. The bed was really comfortable as well. The hot tub was hard to beat in the dead of a January night. The location is a great in-town location convenient to tons of things to do. The hosts were quire responsive and friendly. This is a great place for a couple to have a romantic retreat. We throuroghly enjoyed our stay.
Property could use blinds in kitchen and some sort of drape/fence on driveway side to hide others sitting area (eventually garden area may cover it but not yet, and bthroom spray. We loved the outside kitties and geese. We never saw chickens but i assume they were around.
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The cabin is clean and restored beautifully! This property has beautiful gardens. We were given a private tour (our request) of the gardens by our hostess, Diane. She gave us tips on where to go in town. We also got to meet the goats and the cats were lovable and friendly. We ate fresh eggs that were provided, and Patrick started the grill for us. ❤️❤️
Being on the highway was perfect for us to go on jaunts during the day. The hot tub was fun to use as well.
We would highly recommend.
The owners have done an amazing job with this little slice of paradise. It's clean, comfortable, homey, spacious, and adorable. Their gardens are absolutely beautiful. The breezeway is beyond comfortable and a great hang out area. The hot tub has lights around it and plenty of privacy. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Sobmany essentials are provided. You can see the care and concern in providing a comfortable stay for their patrons. I would and will come back. Close to town. Close to waterfalls. Amazing stay!!
They put a lot of thought into the decor, appliances and overall interior. However no window covering or curtains in most windows. The kitchen opens to the bedroom but no way to close window off to your very close neighbors. Also the cabin is about 10/15 feet from the very busy street. The picture gives the look of privacy that does not exist. Very loud. AMAZING shows and bath.

Rebecca, we are grateful for every guest that chooses our cabin for their travel needs. We fully realize not all can be pleased to the same degree, but I feel the need to push back on your 2-Star rating. After purchasing the cabin in 2016 and spending over 2 years and well over $200,000 in renovations, we welcomed our first guests in 2018. Since then, we have had added 2 more cottages to our 4 acre property and have hosted thousands. I’m deeply gratified at the overwhelming positive feedback we consistently enjoy. I take every criticism to heart and view it as an opportunity for improvement, but in this case, I’m going to clarify some misconceptions in your review. When we enhanced our front entrance to add a deeper roof, beefy locust log posts and a flagstone porch, we were forced to comply with Henderson County setback requirements. We had to prove our entrance would still be more than 40 feet from the road. We comfortably exceed that restriction and it should be evident when you park your car in front of the house.
I purchased custom window treatments for each window in this cabin. Because we still have the original wooden casement windows and they are quite drafty, I installed insulated drapes in every room. Most are backed up by a set of sheers. They have hung there since day 1 and are plainly visible in our photos. I do not understand your false and negative comments, and I am sad you did not enjoy your time here. We wish you well.
Such a cozy, relaxing cabin! I’m absolutely the pickiest person in the world when it comes to cleanliness and this cabin was spotless! We enjoyed the hot tub and breezeway so much! Will definitely come back in the future!

Thank you so much! We look forward to hosting you again.
A little close to the road and a bit noisy. But the outdoor living area breezeway was excellent. Spent more time in the outdoor living area than inside the cabin. Cabin was very clean.
Our family visited NC for the first time from Minnesota. The Lynwood Cabin was perfect for myself, my husband and our 9 year old daughter. Patrick and Diane were great hosts. The cabin is stocked with everything you could need for a getaway. Only a 15 minute drive from the airport, minutes from downtown Hendersonville and close proximity to local must see mountain activities. Our favorite spot was the breezeway. It’s perfect for winding down after a busy day in the mountains. We enjoyed our traditional Friday night movie outdoors, took advantage of the hot tub, played cards and BBQ’d. Our daughter was thrilled to get to play fetch with the resident dog and loved seeing “Will Ferrel” sneak by with her kittens. We would definitely stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Patrick and Diane
We’re Patrick and Diane. We purchased this amazing property in 2016 with the goal of creating a special vacation retreat. The original property came with a 1910 log cabin and its renovation took top priority. As the log cabin neared completion, we realized the property had the potential to host a completely different experience and work was begun to construct the Coop de Ville next door. Since the completion of our new building and cabin renovations, we have worked steadily to create and enhance our landscape and garden areas. Outdoor seating areas have been developed and landscaping has been thoughtfully undertaken to enhance privacy on this large lot. Now we have purchased the 3 acres adjacent to the log cabin, and have constructed a new STR home there. Our parcel is nearly 4 acres now, and you may see us working onsite. Each spring, we plant a vegetable garden with the intention of sharing our harvest with guests. Keep an eye out for ripening tomatoes and let us know what plants you are interested in. We have been known to send a few home! We will gladly wave and say hello. Whether to chat is up to you. Our mission is to provide you with an enjoyable experience with as much privacy as you desire.
