Marybeth, we are sorry your stay did not meet expectations. During your visit, our area experienced unseasonably extreme cold temperatures, which affected many homes and cabins throughout East Tennessee. Prior to and during the weather event, we contacted guests and requested that sinks be left running at a slow drip to help prevent pipes from freezing. Unfortunately, this precaution was not followed, which contributed to the plumbing issues you experienced. We understand how frustrating it is to encounter frozen pipes and reduced functionality during a vacation, especially during the holidays. While these conditions were the result of a rare weather event, we sincerely regret the inconvenience and disappointment it caused. Since then, we have continued to make improvements to help protect the cabin during extreme winter weather. Thank you for your feedback.
