Cute standalone one bedroom cottage, with a mostly fenced yard.Just a few minutes from the cute little town of White Salmon and directly across a bridge from Hood River. Beautifully located to take any of the gorgeous hikes in the Gorge. This was an excellent home base for myself and my two pups to explore the area.
This cute little gem of a property has more going for it than meets the eye. It is less than a half mile's walk to the downtown core of White Salmon where a great brewery, wine tasting rooms and outstanding bakery await. Although its surrounded by other homes, near a busy street, it is very quiet and feels private. Its perfect as a basecamp to all the fun things to do in the area. The ammenities are better than average for a "tiny house": Dishes, good linens and towles, a large bathroom, and a very comfortable bed.
This cozy home was the perfect size for our weekend getaway. The location was fantastic, a very short walk to everything! The fenced-in yard was perfect for playing with our dog.
Well layed out. Quiet, there was great attention to detail
Very conveniently located across the street from my son’s house. Back room could use an extra blanket. The bathroom would benefit from a slip proof mat

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
I loved the place. It was close to where my son lives, very convenient.
I will stay there again. Very clean with all the amenities. I would suggest getting a new lockbox as it’s very difficult to put back together at the end of my stay,
Great location for hood river and Washington wineries- fenced yard for the fur babies although my 5 lb yorkie found a way out. Lots of space and a very comfortable bed!
We enjoyed our stay here, it worked really well for us. We were able to walk to the grocery store and the brewery. It was an easy drive to the Maryhill museum and winery and the Mt biking trails we wanted to ride.
Waveseeker is cosy, basic and overall a good place to stay. It could, however, do with some attention by way of window trim that's peeling badly, baseboard in some of the rooms that needs replacing (or is missing...) and a light over the stove (the one in the microwave doesn't work and didn't last year when I reported it...).
This is a fun place to stay for a visit. Warm and comfortable home with a great place to relax. A lot of room for two or three people to stay and relax. On the lighter side, we stayed here in late September and had to watch for falling chestnuts from the tree in the side yard. A very nice place to stay for your visit to this area.
This is a charming spot in White Salmon. The property is clean and nicely decorated. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The bed was comfy and we were even able to walk to dinner evvery night. Coffee was a nice touch.
We were able to hike by day and walk to restaurants in the evening. The house has a southern exposure, so the afternoon light in autumn was welcoming. The property managers communicated promptly by text. A little updating would be welcome
Needed a base camp for Everyday Brewing block party. 5 min walk to downtown White Salmon. Small but great for 2. Lives bigger than it’s size with high vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and lots of character. Good sized yard but grass in bad shape. Good value for the money.

Best weekend ever
Our first mini vacation. The house is in a nice easy to find location and great for a couple with a dog. Easy to get to, 7 blocks from Everybody's Brewing and closer to the local grocery store, Harvest Market. There is Dish TV and were able to watch NBA playoff game. Only 8-10 minutes from Hood River depending on whether coming or going. 40 minutes to Maryhill Winery and Museum.
Everything worked with no issues. Would definitely stay there again!
One comment to the owners would be to have a few ice cube trays.
We spent a long weekend here and definitely enjoyed it. The space is cozy and comfortable for 2 people (+ our dog). Everything was clean and easy to find in the kitchen. The fenced in yard was great for letting the dog run around. It is also in a great location within walking distance to a lot of the restaurants in White Salmon. We enjoyed dinner at Henni's and Pizza Leona and breakfast at White Salmon Baking Co! All were within walking distance (if the weather had been warm enough for it). The only small issue was slow wifi (not good for streaming shows/movies or working if that's in your plans). But that was our only minor "complaint". Would recommend!
