About the host

We raised our kids in Portland (now 34 and 35) after many adventures and places to live - Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota, Texas, and Oklahoma to name most of them. We are both retired live part-time in Hood River and part-time in NW Portland.

Why they chose this property

We didn't have to look twice at what was then a 'vacation home' in downtown Hood River, after having set a goal to live there part-time once we retired.

What makes this property unique

The location is fantastic - a very short walk to the library or the great restaurants and shops in downtown Hood River.
