Walking distance to both downtown and the boat harbor. This property has a front facing view to Mt. Marathon and is directly across the street from the Seward's historical "Millionaires' Row". Beautiful View of Resurrection Bay to the east.

Stayed for 2 nights. Property was as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. Heather and John were responsive and readily available.Location is great. In the middle of the marina and downtown districts. Alaska Sea Life Center was a great add on to our activities. Trip was with my 2 adult sons- selection of restaurants and bars was great. The rental is in a great location between downtown and the marina. It was clean and supplied with anything you needed for the kitchen as well as shower toiletries. The beds are comfortable. The hosts were responsive. We loved our stay!

Great place that comfortably housed our party of 6. Convenient location right on Parks Hwy & Denali Hwy. Easy trip up to Denali or Healy. Clean, comfortable and has all the amenities. Would definitely book again if in area.

What a great place to stay while in Seward. Location was perfect to walk anywhere you needed to go. The free shuttle bus was along the same street and very convenient. The rental was very clean. Our host answered any questions or request we had on a timely manner.

Nothing short of perfect.

Perfect for our stay in Seward. Slept 4 adults and 2 kids under 2 wonderfully. Great location, close to downtown, coffee, food, Sealife center and just a few block walk from 2 parks. House was stocked wonderfully for us to cook dinner and breakfast there to include pots, pans, coffee and cups and a grill! We will definitely stay here again!!

A beautiful home with all the amenities you could want. Exceptionally clean and great location. Can easily walk everywhere. Plenty of too, and we also enjoyed the outdoor spaces (the grill) and fully stocked kitchen. Layout was perfect. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Great for a weekend in Seward!

This house is really nice -- comfortably fit 6 adults, roomy open plan living room/kitchen, and close to town. Can easily walk to Flamingo Lounge and Resurrection Art Coffee shop and other attractions. Room for 2 cars in the back. Great views of Resurrection Bay and Mt. Marathon. We hiked the Harding Ice Field one day and did the Kenai Fjords private boat/kayak trip the second day, and it was great to return here to relax each evening. Highly recommend!

More then we expected

This was the first time my parents had been to a VRBO. All week I kept telling them, most rentals are not this nice. The property exceeded our expectations! We loved the location. With one car for four people, it was easy to walk anyplace in Seward you would want to go. Communication with the owners was very easy and responses were prompt. I highly recommend them!

Very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Easy to walk to locations in Seward from this VRBO. We got a taxi from the train due to luggage. No problem getting taxi at train station. Then walked everywhere. The house had everything we needed. Very comfortable bedrooms and bath area upstairs and half bath downstairs… very nice kitchen. Perfect! Definitely will need a taxi or some kind of car service to get to Exit Glacier… that is not in walking distance. The house itself was exactly what we expected. Great place to stay in Seward.

Just the Perfect Home

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. Communication with the owner was frequent and always addressed in a timely manner. The windows downstairs were expansive and allowed us views of the mountains to the west. We were two couples and a teenage boy, so we used all three bedrooms and found all three beds very comfortable. Each bedroom had pulldown shades that blocked out the late evening light. The living room, kitchen and dinning area suited our needs and the large tv offered a lot of different choices. We arrived in Seward by cruise ship and found that right at the cruise ship dock there is a free shuttle that will drop you off at stop 8 and then it is a one minute walk to this home. We did not want to pull our luggage all over town before we could check in to this unit at 4pm and the owner was able to give us some suggestions that worked out for us. There were some condiments including oil, sugars, salt and pepper and others too many to list that were also in the unit. The location is perfect. Walk in one direction for one mile and you are in the newer harbor area or go a short distance in the opposite direction and you are in the older part of town with quant shops and good restaurants. Or if you prefer not to walk, there is that free shuttle that has several stops throughout the town including a stop near the main grocery store, Safeway. This home is perfect in every way.

This was the perfect location just a few blocks away from sealife center, restaurants, coffee shops, and the kayak excursions are one block away! It’s about a mile from the harbor but still walkable if you don’t have a car. We had a vehicle, plenty of parking and so easy to get around. The house was perfect for our little family getaway!
