Our trip included myself, my husband, sister and I5 year old granddaughter. I would highly recommend this cabin for the view alone. The drive from the main road is longer than most but the scenery is beautiful and the view you get is well worth it. Communication with the host was excellent as well.

This was our second stay at Blue Bear. The view is unbeatable, even compared to other houses in the neighborhood. The cabin is lovely, great attention to detail by the hosts and everything is comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Blue Bear!!

I only have two cons to this whole property and neither will deter me from booking again...the road up the mountain is long, winding, and a few spots rough from the gravel but the cabin and views make you forget. The water in the main floor shower gets warm only, so if you want a HOT shower, go upstairs. Other than that, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Bryson City area

We loved it and will be back! Enjoyed listening to the coyotes at night. The cabin is just perfect and has a great view. We even saw a timber rattlesnake on the road in the neighborhood. Cabin had everything we needed and more!

The host Tom & Vickie were very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly when I had a question. The cabin was really nice and the view was incredible. The drive up the mountain was a little rough at times but was worth it for the view once you got to the top. I could of set on the back deck all day every day and just looked at the mountains. Thanks again for a great relaxing time that was much needed for me and my husband. We will be back.

Beautiful view and quiet.

We enjoy Bryson City area with all the outdoor activities on the rivers and mountains. The ride up the mountain to the cabin is safe but once a day round trip was enough for us. Our family had a great time all was quiet and comfortable.
