Another Perfect Stay Here

My second birthday week visit, and a fabulous place to stay with family and friends. We were made to feel welcome, and there are lots of lovely personal touches. We loved the views, and the gardens as well as the house itself. Came with different friends this year, since they had heard us speaking about how lovely the place was... And they adored it too.

Idyllic property

The property had everything one needed to just unpack personal items and groceries withoutmissinga beat! There were lots of small touches and conveniences that often go overlooked in a rental property. The hosts were wonderful, and it was obvious they love this property. The gardens are not to be missed. Be mindful that the amazing view and quiet comes with the price of being in a remote location.

A perfect week in Monaco and France

I came to stay with 4 friends for my birthday week. We booked because of the ideal location, but the property was even nicer than we expected. Plenty of space in the living area as well as the beautiful patio, garden and views. It felt more like a home than a holiday rental. Kitchen was well equipped and we were able to easily prepare meals. The bathrooms and bedrooms were all lovely too. Finally the hosts! Patrick was very responsive to our online queries in advance, and made us feel very comfortable with our booking choices. At the property we met Sophie, who checked us in and out and made us feel very welcome. Sophie (and Patrick) clearly love the property, and they seemed to get pleasure from sharing it. My only caution would be that Patrick told us to get a taxi the first time, and not attempt to walk up to the property with luggage. He was correct. it is a steep climb carrying luggage! Absolutely would recommend this property to anyone looking to spend some time in the beauty of the Cote d'Azur. Thank you Sophie and Patrick!

Magique

2/10 Terrible

Great view and clean. But no A/C. No WiFi. Steep & windy road far from restaurants & shops.

The owner was kind and had things prepped for our arrival. Perhaps our fault for not recognizing it, but it was really challenging to not have any Wi-Fi and no A/C so we felt like we couldn't really relax by being at the house. The house was cleaned well before our arrival. The kitchen has been updated but everything else is outdated and with old furnishings. The table outside on the deck looks out on the whole area which is nice. Hard to find the shopping nearby, we had to drive about 20 minutes to get groceries. We took the red bus tour of Monaco and Monte Carlo and really enjoyed that.
Response from VrboOwner on 22 Mar, 2020
We are very surprised by your very harsh quotation as far as you never told us you were disappointed. On the contrary, you sent me 'Many thanks' in the Homeaway mailbox. As it is specified on the server, there is no WiFi, it was a choice, a way of life. We thought that we could much more relax listening birds and cigalas in the garden than typing on our computer or smartphone. But, in order to answer to that kind of wishing, we are going to install WiFi for those who need it. We are very saddened you couldn't find a grocery easily. The first one is 1,5km far from the house. I could help you by phone. I wish you will find a more suited booking the next time and you keep a good opinion of our country. Patrick

Response from VrboOwner on 22 Mar, 2020
Amicalement. Patrick
