About this property

Quiet, Comfortable Home.

3 Bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths fit neatly into this cozy 1,500 square foot home. The Master has a vaulted ceiling and an amazing PIkes Peak view to wake up to every morning. All 3 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms share the second full bathroom. Laundry is on the 2nd floor. High ceilings give the feeling of a much larger space on the main level. There is a large Living Room, a Dining Room, Powder Room and an Eat-in Kitchen.

The back yard Patio has a charm of it\'s own. It boasts 3 Lilac bushes - 2 purple and 1 white, Purple and Yellow Irises and an orange Trumpet Vine. There are 2 patio tables and 2 umbrellas to keep you cool if it ever gets "too hot" in Colorado Springs. There are twinkle lights in the patio trees that turn off and on with the simple click of a remote control. You can take it easy on the lounge chair under the large umbrella or you can cook up a storm with the small BBQ Grill. The side yard will be transformed into a vegetable garden in June. There are 2 neighborhood parks close enough to walk to with playground equipment and open space to kick balls around or fly a kite. The backyard is fully fenced so you can let little ones be outside without too much supervision.
Easy I-25 access and close to hiking trails. Less than 10 minutes to The Broodmoor.

Beautiful and Cozy

The home was nice, clean, and overall a good stay. Liz was very helpful and kind. However, the house was a little warm with no central a/c. Two bedrooms had window units and the master had a unit we had to take out of the closet and set up. It was a really hot weekend for the area, so normally this wouldn't be an issue. It was a little uncomfortable to sit downstairs and watch TV. I would guess that 95% of the year this wouldn't be an issue.

I've lived in Colorado since 1993 but moved to Colorado Springs in 2014. I'm still finding my way around town & exploring the hiking and biking trails but I love living here! Being so close to the mountains and seeing Pikes Peak with it's majestic presence from almost any vantage point of Colorado Springs is a wonderful blessing . I have 4 grown children, 3 of whom are in the Air Force, so I tavel to see them and all my grandkiddos. It makes sense to let someone else enjoy my home when I am not there. I'm a Realtor and I've been selling Real Estate since 2000. I weathered the ups and downs of the market and I am on the best team I could ever imagine. If you have any desire to make Colorado Springs your new home, I would be honored to help you.

Why they chose this property

I was a "gypsy" for almost 5 years and moved 16 times. I wanted my own place so badly and I had an idea of my perfect house. A friend posted on Facebook that the Buyer for her house had lost his job and couldn't buy her house, so it was available again. I saw the post on Sunday and I was moving on Fridayy. I wasn't excited about the place I was going to but I didn't have any other options. My daughter had moved to Colorado Springs and I was going to go down from Denver the next day, so I scheduled a showing. I walked into the house and knew this was my new home! We negotiated the deal and I moved in on June 6th, 5 days after I found out about it.

What makes this property unique

My favorite part of living in this house is the view of PIkes Peak that I wake up to every morning! My second favorite part of my house is my back yard. I have such a private feeling and I host Margarita Monday Partys in the Summer. A friend put twinkle lights in my Lilac Bush and I love sitting outside and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. My next project is to put in a vegetable garden. I love cooking and what better way to have the freshest ingredients than to grow them myself.
