VILLA OHANA LUXURY VILLA JUST A FEW STEPS FROM THE BEACH.

Welcome to OHANA, we created this brand new villa as a warm nest for our family and friends.
Situated on a private gated community with access to Tamarindo's most beautiful beaches: Playa Tamarindo and Playa Langosta. 
This 2 master bedrooms with each  a kingsize bed, 1 guest room with a queen size bed, 1 kids room with double bunk-beds, 4 bathrooms villa comfortably accommodates 1 or 2 families or a group of friends in a unique, private and safe location. On the beach you are minutes away from the best surf spot for kids in town and also some great beach clubs and restaurants. 
Staying in OHANA is a luxury experience and to make sure you have an unforgettable stay, we provide daily housekeeping. Our Property Manager, Maria S., will be available to address any issues that may arise during your stay.

Overall a great stay! Unfortunately there was construction next door that we weren’t informed about until the day before check-in, but she did offer us a partial refund for it which was very kind. Just maybe check about neighboring construction first (for any rental in this area) — not the fault of the homeowner but definitely wasn’t ideal tbh

The house is amazing! It is beautiful and very well equipped. The community and beach are amazing. It is close to everything. We had Maria connect us with golf cart rentals and the chef for one night. The food was out of this world and renting the golf carts could not have been easier. This place was perfect and we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Spot

House, pool, and most of all Maria is amazing. House is a short golf cart ride from Tamarindo. Perfectly located. Highly recommend this house and the area.

We had the best vacation in Villa Ohana! Next to the beach, all the contemporary needs, very safe and a beautifully decorated villa. The outdoor area was perfect and child proof... Most important, we felt at home!

Wonderful vacation

This is a beautiful home in a safe and beautiful neighborhood. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and once on the beach a 10 min walk to downtown Tamarindo. We rented a golf cart to access downtown as well. Maria (manager) was responsive to all needs. Maria (housekeeper) came daily and kept everything clean and comfortable. Fish and Cheeses restaurant and market is delicious! We hope to come back soon!

Beautiful home, perfect location

Great time in Tamarindo with family and in-laws. Loved the location with easy access to town and a one minute walk to the beach. Comfortable beds, excellent linens/towels. Loved the friendly housekeepers. Remember to bring shampoo/conditioner (they provide soap) and any cooking supplies (salt/pepper/oil) u may need for your stay (the kitchen is very well Stocked). Excellent washer/dryer too. Pool was perfect temp and size. Absolutely would recommend to all looking for a special Place to call home in Tamarindo! Dreaming of our return already. Enjoy! This is a special place for sure.

Villa Ohana

We had a wonderful week at Villa Ohana. Maria was very helpful with all of our questions and helped to set up our tours for us. We all loved the ATV/Ziplining tour! The house was lovely and we enjoyed the pool very much. The golf carts we rented were a great way to get around Tamarindo. Maria (housekeeper) was so sweet. The only complaint we would give is there is significant leaking on the walls between the bunk room and Queen bedroom. This needs to be resolved as it rained very hard when we were there every evening and the water on the floor posed a hazard for slipping. Once resolved we highly recommend Villa Ohana and Tamarindo!

We had such an amazing time here! The house was super clean and well-maintained, Maria the host was wonderful and responsive. The neighborhood was really nice and the beach access was really close. There was construction going on next-door, but it wasn’t super loud, plus we were out a lot. Maria told us where to rent golf carts from and I’m so glad we did it. They dropped them off out front before we got there and picked them up after we left, no problems at all. The ride downtown was literally five minutes and parking was easy everywhere. Definitely recommend if you don’t have a car.The outdoor showers were absolutely spectacular, almost my favorite part of the house! The pool was awesome and the perfect temperature, and there was plenty of seating outside for everyone to relax There were lots of kitchen supplies, and we had Patty, the recommended chef, come in and make us a meal on our last night and it may have been the best meal any of us had ever had. The four teenagers said it was their absolute favorite and that’s saying something! We could’ve fed 20 of us, I wish I hadn’t done it the last night so we could’ve eaten leftovers for days! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home, maybe we’ll make it back one day!

Beautiful stay in Costa Rica!

As we were planning our wedding in Costa Rica, we wanted to find a place to stay that would match the beauty of Tamarindo, and Villa Ohana was the perfect spot! It has very modern decor and has plenty of space to make sure everyone who stays here has their own privacy. This place only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and about a 20-25 walk to the heart of Tamarindo! As we learned after we arrived, if you don't have a rental car, it would probably be helpful to rent a golf cart if you don't want to walk everywhere. Maria was also incredibly helpful in getting shuttles set up for us, and always making sure we had everything we needed. The Villa was a little difficult for us to find, so make sure you follow Maria's instructions on how to get there. There was also a bit of construction going on around the villa while we were there (August 2019), it didn't bother us, but something to be aware of. Overall, if you're looking for a beautiful getaway on your visit to Tamarindo, Villa Ohana should be at the top of your list!

Wow

This place is amazing. Absolutely gorgeous house in gated community very close to all the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo but quiet retreat. Maria was easy to work with and the maid who came every day was very sweet. The pool was very refreshing and occasionally you can hear the monkeys nearby. Pretty easy walk to the beach - bring shoes as you need to walk over a few flat rocks to get to the sand. Highly recommend renting a golf cart for the time there - it’s very fun to drive around town with one. My teens loved it. The neighborhood is under construction building the most beautiful houses. The workers were not loud and very respectful. We went during rainy season and we definitely saw some friends (cute lizards, cute little crabs). Even a cat came by to say hi one day. Bring bug spray - the mosquitos are definitely present in Costa Rica but didn’t deter us from anything. For restaurants we really enjoyed El Pelicano, Fish and Cheeses (right down the street), and Dragonfly. The waffles at Waffle Monkey are delicious. The Monkey Jungle Zip Line tour was great (teens loved it) and we did the Pininos UTV tour - highly recommend - super fun. Overall highly recommend this VRBO. Gorgeous.

Insgesamt ein gutes Haus (Villa) mit schöner Raumaufteilung Leider ist es auf den Bildern nicht ersichtlich, das die Schlafzimmer über unterschiedliche Bettengrössen und Raumgrösse verfügen,der Masterbedroom ist sehr komfortabel und grosszugig,ein zweites Schlafzimmer ebenfalls gross und wie der Masterbed room mit Aussendusche, ein weiteres Schlafzimmer kleiner , das letzte Zimmer verfügt nur über EtagenbettenDie gesamte Ausstattung ( Geschirr und Töpfe ) sehr reichhaltig, Gasherd mit Backofen sehr gut, ebenfalls der Kühlschrank mit Eismaker!Die Reinigung erfolgt täglich , ausser Sonntags Der Grill (Gas) ist in einem schlechten Zustand und muss ersetzt werden !Pool und Poolpflege ist gut.Ebenfalls positiv ist zu erwähnen, das die Villa über eine Waschmaschine (LG) und einen Trockner ( LG) verfügt Insgesamt ist die Villa für Familien / Gruppen 6-8 Personen zu empfehlenUnsere Reise fand über Weihnachten 2024 statt

We loved it!

Maria's house is stunning! My Sister and I brought our family, 5 children in total (ages 8 through 3). The house is perfect for 9 people. The location was perfect, the cleaning ladies were super nice. We loved using the pool daily. Everything works great in the house and such a beautiful design. We felt safe and enjoyed going to the beach. You can easily walk through the beach to get to the main area.

We had an absolutely incredible experience, golf carting to all of the beaches, surfing, amazing dinners etc. the house is absolutely beautiful and so clean. was not aware of the construction across the street which was noisy. Would love to come back after it’s done.

A wonderful property for multi-family vacation

We stayed at Villa Ohana for 8 days over the holidays and had an absolutely fantastic time. The pictures hardly do the house justice - the rooms are nicely sized and the common area is very well suited for eating, hanging out, having a cocktail or two, kids' activities, reading, etc. The outdoor space is perfect for families - the pool, despite its modest size - has something for everyone: large steps for easy access, a deeper end for bobbing around and a ~ 10' x 12' shallow area that's about 1' deep for small children or submerged sunbathing. Maria and her team are extremely responsive. There were a few small maintenance issues that came up during our stay (totally normal stuff) and Maria had a maintenance person there within a few hours to resolve. There's 4 hours of cleaning provided each day of the rental (except Sundays) which proved to be quite luxurious. Who knew we even needed that? The location is very close to beach (a four minute walk) and is in a gated community so safety - not really a concern in Tamarindo in general - is not at all a factor. We're hoping to come back next year. Thanks Maria for such a wonderful stay!

Pura Vida in Paradise!

Our stay in Villa Ohana, was to describe it briefly: a holiday in heaven! We will definitely be back and we can recommend this place to everyone! The luxurious villa has been decorated beautifully and contemporary. A lot of open spaces which gives you a calm and relaxing feeling, that you have a lot of oxygen. It is situated in a secure area, at walking distance from the beach and close to a lot of little shops and lovely restaurants.
