RARE PROPERTY !!!! PRIVATE PATIO with a fire pit, BBQ and patio table. One block from the sand and the town. Surf boards, bicycles, boogie boards, umbrellas, chairs, towels. This is a one story 2 bedroom 2 bath completely remodeled updated and nicely furnished. No Pets, No exception's.

The house is a perfect spot to enjoy the 'world's safest beach' -Carpinteria. We are walkable to Carpinteria town with stores on Linden Avenue and the local restaurants. Amtrak Train station 1 block away and one stop to downtown Santa Barbara. Its about a 10 minute drive, or hop on the train. You are close to Santa Barbara with all the downtown shopping and funk zone wine trails. Carpinteria also has great local brewery's and gourmet restaurants just a short walk.

Enjoy San Ynez Valley and Solvang wine tasting about 30 miles away to enjoy these world famous wineries.

Take a drive to Malibu, Ojai Valley, Rincon Point, Ventura or down to LA to Universal Studios, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Chumash Casino-- to name a few fun-filled activities.

Enjoy a quiet, peaceful, beach town - perfect to relax, enjoy the sunset, and time together.

We had an amazing stay - great location and owners were very nice . House is clean the fire pit area is very nice to have! Hope to come back and stay here with my kids again!

Comfortable and tasteful

This property was better than described and complete with amenities such as bicycles and a well-equipped kitchen. it's location is suberb--offering a quick walk to town, the beach and evening sunsets. There was nothing lacking and the communication with the owner was excellent.

Excellent winter beach stay

This house has great amenities, living space and comfy beds - terrific for our family of four's post-Christmas vacation. Just 2 blocks from a broad beach and an easy walk to Carpinteria which we have come to love. We also spend lots of time in Santa Barbara, Montecito, which were easy drives (but the freeway can get backed up). The kitchen is especially well stocked.

We LOVED staying here. The property felt like a home away from home... High end, well-decorated, well-maintained. Beautiful neighborhood, and easy walk to the beach and Carp town. We don't often do VRBOs any more since it feels like the lists of rules rival the IRS tax code and I honestly don't want to have to deal with that while on vacation. This property was *not* like that, and genuinely felt like a friend was letting you borrow their home for a few days. Thank you to the owners for sticking to the original ethos of VRBO and sharing their lovely home!The owners were very responsive and clear in their communication. Check in was easy. Kitchen was great and had all we needed and more!

CLEAN and just as described

A 3-4 min walk down the street to Carpinteria beach. The house has beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, paddles, bikes—perfectly appointed. The house is spotless in whites and the owner/manager is responsive and very easy to work with. Santa Barbara is about a 15 min drive away but there are great restaurants and shopping in Montecito which is about 8-10 minutes away.

Awesome rental - like new, great location and responsive host!

Fantastic stay! Host was very responsive. Rental was like new - kitchen fully stocked, very clean, great layout indoors and outdoors. Superb location - short walk to an amazing stretch of beach and the sweet town of Carpinteria. Bikes and boogie boards were regularly used by our sons! New bike path connecting Carp to SB is a wonderful addition. Have already recommended this rental to friends and hope to return very soon!

Great Beach Vacation

Really great house and location. Just two blocks from beach and two blocks off of main drag of Linden. The bikes provided was great for our kids and us as it allowed us to get anywhere without the car. Great house for 2 adults and 2 kids. Only bummer was communication was abysmal. We drove 12 hours for this vacation and didn't receive any info until day of the trip. I emailed, called and texted and finally got a response 4 hours before arrival that "key is under mat". On first day I had one question that was answered and another about how to get TV to work that was never responded to. I figured it out. There was no info in the house re: tips to house and Carpinteria, which I found strange. We've used VRBO and AIrbnb over 10 times and I've never had a host be this unhelpful or simply not interested. It wasn't huge deal because it's vacation, not rocket science, and the house was great so I'd highly recommend.

Better than the pictures

Location is amazing and the pictures of the property don’t represent it as good as it is. Gorgeous inside. It rained the majority of the time we stayed there so could not take advantage of the lovely outdoor fire pit but did take a short ride on the bikes around the neighborhood to check out the beach.

Lovely stay!

We had a blast at this very lovely beach cottage. It was pristinely clean and it had everything you need for a day at the beach (umbrellas, boogie boards etc.)

Fun fall get away

Carpinteria is a clean, quiet beach town. The house is so close to the fabulous beach! If you open the windows at night you can hear the surf. The house is very well appointed and clean. We really enjoyed our time after dark by the gas fire pit.

Amazing location. We can walk or bike to everything. The beach was clean, safe and easy to get to. The home is fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We will book this home again!
