I moved to Alaska in 1987 from the midwest. Graduated college with a degree in Business Management from Alaska Pacific University with an emphasis in Hotel/Food Service Management and Tour and Travel. Before starting my own Event, Meeting and Destination Management Company, Logistics, LLC, 26 years ago, I had the pleasure to work for Hilton Anchorage for 5 years in sales and worked in the restaurant industry for many years. I have served on the Alaska Travel Industry Associations. Marketing Committee and Board of Directors and a past Board of Director for the Alaska Aviation Museum. For over 18, I have served as a Board of Director for Visit Anchorage and the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and very actively involve in the community of Anchorage. In addition to work and spending time with my daughter and four dogs, I enjoy camping, fishing, family and friends get togethers, exploring Alaska and gardening are some of my favorite pastimes.

Why they chose this property

I purchased this property 18 years ago and moved Logistics offices into this downtown house. It offered a great location in downtown, free parking for staff, historic home/work space that was a perfect fit for the team, worked well for office space, perfect backyard to bring my young daughter to work, etc. As the company grew, the office was moved to a warehouse location and a decision was made to remodel the home and turn it into a vacation rental to share this special space with guests visiting Alaska.
