The Chalet at Patricia's Place is a splendidly renovated log cabin that is nestled atop a private cove in Maggie Valley. Spectacular views await you at this tranquil retreat, yet it is still conveniently located within minutes of the many attractions in Maggie Valley including the Cataloochee Ski Area and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is only a 30 minute drive from Asheville, North Carolina.

Enjoy rocking on your chair or grilling on the deck while you marvel at the 180 degree mountain views and take in the mountain air. This chalet-style cabin is equipped with many modern amenities, such as heated tiled bathrooms with a glass shower, jet tub, and its own sauna, a wood burning stove fireplace, ceiling fans, comfortable beds with luxury mattresses, updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a covered parking area. Enjoy Spectrum 1 Gig high speed internet service with cable channels and streaming services.

Perfect romantic getaway for two. Relax in the cabin or adventure out to the many exciting attractions that are within 30 minutes of the home: The Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Resort and Ranch, Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, Elk Watching, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, The Wheels of Time Museum, Lake Junaluska, and Downtown Waynesville.

Because the property is on a mountain, we are not responsible for weather-related access to the chalet. During winter months, we strongly recommend taking a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to the cabin. Parking for a trailer is not available. Motorcycles are restricted on the property, and no trailering vehicles allowed due to access issues.

The cabin and the entire stay was spectacular. Thom was super responsive from the moment we booked until the moment we left but honestly, we didn’t really need much. The cabin is as described… Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Beautiful mountain views and just what you need for a sweet family escape to the mountains. We can’t wait to come back.

The Chalet at Patricia's Place is in a great location to explore the mountains. East to get to and once you are there you will love the peace and quiet and the view is wonderful. Owner is easy to communicate with and makes check in and check out very easy. Along with a nice bowl with fresh eggs and vegetables from the owners garden, there is lots of necessities already there. You wont be disappointed.

Very clean. Kitchen has everything needed. Very private. Host communicated quickly. Pet friendly, enough area outside to take care of business. We did not use the tub or the Sauna. Just an overnight stay to our destination. I would stay again, but not with winter ice, because the drive might give problems. The driveway way was good during our stay in October. Very nice modern log cabin.Thank you allowing us to stay.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described, with breathtaking views. The host was gracious, responsive, and made everything easy. Highly recommend for a romantic retreat or a family getaway.

We only stayed one night, but it was such a wonderful little cabin. Great views, clean, updated (great bathroom amenities including sauna, spa tub ,steam shower). The property is close to the brewery which had wonderful food. The only "issue" that I would recommend to update would be the bed on the first floor. The mattress topper definitely helps with comfort, but it is clear it is an older mattress and towards the end of it's comfortableness. Overall, wonderful place to stay! Very clean, stocked kitchen (including spices!), and plenty to do in the area. I look forward to coming back and enjoying more time in the area.
