A tranquil, secluded oasis hidden in the centre of everything. After a day of exploring nearby Victoria, come home to pristine views of forests, mountains and lake. Relax in your private lakeside yard and dive off the sunny dock into the refreshing waters of Langford Lake. Gather around the gas fireplace for a fun evening and retire to our charming, cozy, well appointed home. You will love the huge river rock fireplace, the vaulted ceilings and the West Coast comfortable decor. Paradise found.

Our home is perfect for one or more families, with different sleeping options to accommodate various family combinations. Even your dog will love it here!

Bed Configuration:
- Queen in master on main floor
- Double in 2nd bedroom with bathroom on lower level
- Two twin beds and one trundle (sleeps three in separate twin beds) separated by an optional curtain. Amazing Views from this lower level room!
- Extra rollaway cot - full twin size so suitable for a child or an adult. Could be set up in any of the bedrooms or common rooms.

Great location, water access, and yard!

House was as-advertised. It is a bit older but nicely and comfortably furnished. The backyard is phenomenal with multiple levels to hang out on. Loris was kind enough to provide us with a dog gate to keep our pup up on the main level (and it also worked in a pinch to keep our toddler safe, too!) You have direct access to the water through a dock and some steps. Using the provided kayaks was amazing - we did it every day. The house provides life jackets (even for a toddler) which was great because we hadn't even thought about it. Couple of things I'll post here that we discovered that you might like to know: 1) The coffee machine is a Keurig. Loris provided a few pods and then reusable pods that you put grounds in. We were a bit disappointed that we'd have to buy more pods or grounds ourselves. After we got back from the grocery store, we realized one of the jars on the counter had grounds for our use, d'oh! 2) There are amazing trails and public lake access very close to the house. Follow the private drive and turn LEFT and keep going! There is a beach-ish area, a fishing dock, etc. There's also a boardwalk that goes over the wetlands, very cool! 3) There are a TON of games (kids and adult), puzzles, toys (for little ones), and books (also for little ones) at the property. What a pleasant surprise. We stayed for a week and thought we'd have to find some more books as our kid gets bored after a couple of readings, but we had enough to last us all the way through. We had a wonderful stay and want to come back next year!

Peaceful Getaway

We just returned home from our stay at Loris' charming lakeside home. It was everything we needed. A quiet getaway with a perfect dock for reading and swimming, or stick throwing for our dog in our case. The cabin is just 20 minutes away from downtown Victoria so an easy drive into town for dinner or stay close by and eat at Bin 4. We loved our time on the lake!

Heavenly house on the lake

This is one of the most charming and relaxed homes we've ever stayed in. It's literally right on Langford Lake with stunning views from three levels. The lake is surprisingly warm for swimming and kayaking due to it being only 8-10 feet deep in most places so gets quickly warmed by the summer sun. The private dock is a dream come true. Perfect spot to share a bottle of bubbly and watch the sunset - which is exactly what my husband and I did. We loved this place and the extra touches that Loris, the owner made happen...fresh flowers and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival. Bed was super comfy - sheets equally amazing. Bathroom is updated and spotless. It's a well-loved home waiting for you to love it also. One of our best trips yet!!

Excellent property by the lake!

Stayed here for 6 nights in August 2018 with 2 adults and 3 kids. A very relaxing older home with all the modern conveniences. Home is well stocked, and the lake was a popular spot every day with the kids and adults, and appreciated all of the water toys provided. Nice patio and comfortable beds. Owner was great to deal with and responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Lakeside house for three nights with four adults. We had an amazing time. So many perfect summer moments on the dock and equally gorgeous inside the house as well. We felt spoiled all around.

Fabulous! Would stay again!

I needed a place to stay while visiting Victoria for business. I was kind a hesitant to book this property since there were not that many reviews, but I am really glad I did! The house and the location are unforgettable. While I was drinking coffee on the patio overlooking the lake, I was thinking what a location for a yoga or meditation retreat! The house has breathtaking view of the lake and is located on a very quiet street. If you are braver than me you can take a dip in the lake in front of the house! The house was very clean, recently renovated and you could tell that Loris, the host is very proud and loves her property! If I ever come back to Victoria I will stay here again. Thank you Loris for the unforgettable experience!

Cozy, Modern, Tranquil & Private Cottage on the Lake

This is a newly updated lake home with plenty of open space and beautiful views of the lake from upstairs and down. All the modern conveniences of a home, but felt like we were at a summer cottage. It was Amazing!!! Very Tranquil setting with swimming right there on your own private dock. Kids will love the warm water and parents will love the peaceful deck overlooking the lake and the dock. We have stayed in many VRBO properties in the past, and this place was one of the nicest we have been in. It was very clean and so quiet - No power boats or Jetskiis roaring around as the lake is electric motors only. There were many amenities within a five minute drive to downtown Langford including several restaurants, Starbucks and a grocery store. We loved how this place felt like we were well away from it all, but still close to conveniences and only a 15 minute drive to downtown Victoria. Loris was amazing, friendly and easy to deal with. We would stay here again in a heart beat. Thanks Loris
