Perfect weekend lake house!

We had a great stay! The house is adorable and perfect for our family weekend. Jeff was available for all of our questions leading up to our stay and we definitely appreciated his tips about the area. Thanks for a great weekend!

Country comfort at the lake

We really enjoyed our weekend stay. We arrived at the property and found everything just as described. It has a lake home / country comfort feel to it. Although we only had four in our group we easily could have slept 8+. This property has everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. Communication with the owner was always available and very helpful. Enjoyed staying on Palmer Lake - First time!

Location was perfect; owner very accommodating, responsive and friendly. Even though this stay was for an "extended family" reunion, our favorite time was actually just hanging out on the covered porch/deck (without the extended family) which faced the lake. I brought my own queen air mattress and set it up in the downstairs living room because there were pocket doors if I needed privacy. We only stayed a few days and were outside most of the time so no LR needed. Would like to come back and stay again (without the rigid reunion agenda.) Thank you!

Very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay!

I loved the house! I am very partial to older homes. This house offered the quaintness of an older home with the modern conveniences such as ceiling fans in all the right places and central air. The location was nice too. It was in walking distance of a cute little downtown but right on the water. I especially enjoyed the wonderful porch over looking the lake. Even on a very humid June afternoon, I was comfortable on the porch. The owners installed a ceiling fan on the porch which moved the air perfectly. Tooling around the lake on our boat was wonderful as well. My advice is to talk with someone that lives local or ask the owners about how best to traverse the lake. We didn't do that and ended up hitting a few stumps. No damage done, but better to be smart and ask to avoid those types of things! There was not much boat traffic on the lake, even on a Saturday in late June. It was quiet and relaxing! Jeff was great to work with. He provided the right level of interaction and let me know that I could call if I needed anything at all!
