Absolutely oved our stay at the cottage.Friendly hosts next door.Easy parking .Cottage was immaculate. Walks from the cottageAmple secure garden space for ourdog.Loads of a places of interest nearby.
We had a lovely warm welcome when we arrived! Jane, the owner, provided all the local knowledge needed to plan our few days away including where to eat, get takeout etc. Jane would happily go the extra mile to make sure you have the best time. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was great that we didnβt have to buy condiments..Beds are really comfortable and nicely made up. It was a wonderful chilled break away!Would definitely return and recommend as the area is well located for sight seeing and woodland walks. The only downside was that we had to leave so soonβ¦

We had a lovely stay at the cottage and would happily return. The location is peaceful and perfect for a family break, surrounded by beautiful countryside and great walks nearby. It was an ideal base for exploring the Forest of Dean and the surrounding areas. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable, and well equipped, and it felt very welcoming after long days out. Our children especially loved seeing the sheep and chickens greeting us at the front door, it made the stay feel extra special and really added to the countryside experience.Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a charming setting. Thank you for having us!

Thank you for hosting us Jane, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at your lovely little cottage and getting away from the city. Perfect for a family get away.
The house felt like being at home, cosy and comfortable, Jane and her husband made feel welcome, as did the neighbours who walked past. Quiet, relaxing location and ideal centre for many local attractions. Will miss the hens and sheep!!!
