The house was lovely, with fantastic views, and we really enjoyed our stay in the peaceful surroundings. Although it’s located at the end of a very narrow lane, the property was still easy to find.On arrival, the house was clean and tidy. The information folder, however, was tucked away amongst other books and pamphlets — it would have been helpful if it had been left out somewhere more obvious, and it could do with being brought up to date.Overall, this is a beautiful cottage in a secluded setting with fabulous views, and we would definitely stay again
Road is challenging and directions out of date as shop in village closed 6 years ago. Cottage itself is delightful with amazing views and lovely garden. Walk to Cleddon Shoots closed due to a tree fallen down.
A beautiful cottage in a lovely setting overlooking The Wye! We will definitely be booking again in the future. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay, we just wished we were there longer to enjoy it more!
Absolutely beautiful location with stunning views over the river Wye. Not much in the village other than a pub but it’s very close to plenty of other towns and villages with good amenities
What a stunning location and house, I can fault it in the slightest.Even though I was there for only 2 nights, I felt like I had a weeks rest.Absolutely will be back as soon as I can
This is our 3rd visit here. Absolutely love the place. The house has such a lovely welcoming vibe to it. There are plenty of walks right on the door step. A national park 3 mins drive away with plenty of walks as well. The garden is beautiful and the fencing is very secure, so if you have dog's then they won't escape. We have 3 small Jack Russells, so could just let them outside and they played for ages. If there was an escape hole then they'd have found it and disappeared. All in all there's absolutely nothing I can fault about the accommodation or area.
Bank cottage is an amazing property situated in the beautiful area. Idyllic view overlooking the village. We had a lovely time and certainly didn't want to leave - will definitely be booking again in near future.
We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage is comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a short break. The views are superb. Great walks from the cottage and a great location for lots of attractions on the area. Some of the roads are very narrow and steep leading up and down to the cottage, something to be aware of to make sure your car can handle it! Worth it for such a lovely place to stay though.
We had a wonderful time at Bank Cottage. Well equipped and lovely and clean. The garden was excellent for our dog. The decking area was fab. Only thing to consider lots of steps so not good for people with mobility issues. We will definitely be back. Wine was a nice welcome x
Beautiful views. Well equipped cottage. Thank you.
