We also overlook one of Wateree's islands, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask).

So happy you all had such a great stay in our estate lakehouse! Happy the amenities were a blast for the kiddos and everyone had their expectations met! Safe travels and we hope to see you on the lake again!
The house was beautiful and very roomy. Great place to have a family get together. The location was perfect. Grounds were will taken care of, the view of the lake wasperfect for viewing the sunset. It was located in a cove which made it less noisy. Had a great time there and all of our grandkids had plenty to do.

The property is great for family’s, a lot of room! The location was perfect being around the corner from Shaw outdoor recreation , to rent pontoons and tubes etc. Nice dock for your boat. The property has everything ! We were a beach family but this visit has turned us into a lake family ! We already plan to come again next year. Also a plus , is it has things for all ages ! Property manager was excellent !

So happy you had such a good lake experience you will be returning! We hope the core memories were made by everyone from the youngest to the oldest! You simply cannot beat the location, its just a great group rental on Lake Wateree for sure! We hope to see you all again on the shores!
We arent "too far" though we aren't "close." But the lake adds a lot to the core memories for sure, worth the extra drive (in our opinion, and these guests) to be away from a college town and on the water!
This house was amazing. Very spacious, and clean and loved the view of the lake. There were 14 of us and not one complaint. Will definitely rent this house again, but next time for a longer stay. Very satisfied renters!

Not one complaint, that's amazing and we will take that as a big W!!!
We had a family of 8 staying for a long weekend. There were a lot of things to do at the house that kept everyone busy and having fun. We are from Oregon and it was a wonderful visit to SC. Thank you!

So happy everyone kept busy and you all made lasting memories!
My extended family of 10 enjoyed a fun time on Kake Wateree. We used both the main house and cottage, and that worked great. The two docks were perfect for the two boats. The view across the lake was always special, especially the colorful sunsets.

So happy you had a fun stay on Lake Wateree and adding the guest house was probably music to the older one's ears though the 6000 sq ft has a lot of space to get away from the youngers, its nice to have your own cabin right next door! Message us why we weren't a 5star stay though, you all seemed to have had a blast and had no issues? Safe travels!
Thank goodness we found this place, it allowed my family, a total of 13 of us, to come to my daughters graduation from the University in South Carolina in Columbia. A little bit of a ride to and from the campus but once that was over, this out of the way location on Lake Wateree was beautiful. Had accommodations for us all and everyone had a great time on the lake. It was an awesome weekend!

We get a lot of graduation stays from USC - so happy you all had a pleasant stay!
The house was nice and overall we enjoyed our stay but it needs a good deep clean! The bathrooms were very clean but throughout the rest of the house it just needed to be swept and mopped and the kitchen cabinets and back splash needed a good cleaning!

Oh dear, message us next time and we would send the caretaker back immediately! Sometimes on back to back turns not everything is addressed, but if you notice something needs something, please give us a ring! Safe travels!
My main issue is that the pictures show a swing set. That was the main reason we picked this house over other options. There was NO SWING SET. My son was graduating from the Army and we would have picked a closer house to the base had we known there was NO Swing Set. Please update your listing to reflect what is actually there.

I am sorry we didn't alert your family that we lost the swingset before your arrival so you could have found another large lakehouse with a swing. Losing it was honestly an after-thought as it was rarely used and never mentioned in passing by guests. Had you mentioned this apparently major issue during your stay we would have gladly gone and bought some items for the kids to keep busy or refunded you or really anything to prevent a 3 star review. A missing swing is not worth losing 2 stars because you all still "had an unbelievable time!" Feels careless and out of touch.
We had a wonderful time at the house. We had a few issues when we first arrived, but they came right out and fixed the problems. Since we had mostly adults the sleeping arrangements were a bit tricky. The twin bed in the loft above the living room is way to small for most adults and the loft area in one of the bedrooms was too hot to sleep up there in the summer. We only had 12 in the house and one of the adult girls slept on a child size air mattress.
That being said the Property was beautiful and nicely tucked in a cove with a lot of privacy. There were many activities for the family to keep all entertained. We rented a boat for the day and had a wonderful celebration!
Thank You!

Yes, we dont tend to have 12 older adults staying at the lakehouse, so sleeping can be tricky! We would have suggested one of the couches over a single in a loft for sure or really adding our guest houses to your stay, that could have slept the elders more comfortably! Sorry for the arrival issues, we remedied them within the hour and I know that was well-received! Safe travels!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this fun and funky home. We weren't sure how big our group would be and ended up having more space than we needed. It could definitely accommodate a much bigger party. With 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a small dog, we had plenty of room and lots of things to do. The weather was freezing cold and windy but we still roamed around and had fun. The hot tub was great as well as the games in the basement - shuffleboard, pool table, ping pong. The lofted bedrooms were a hit with the teens. We absolutely loved being in a quiet cove with a wonderful view of the sunset. Proximity to Camden was terrific too. Only negative was that the cleaning staff needs to do a better job on deep cleaning - dusting the range hood and under the furniture, things like that. The bathrooms were quite clean though. And the house could use a little maintenance but it didn't bother us. We'll definitely stay here again.

Love that you loved our quiet cove! A cove is so important and non-savvy renters don't realize that importance while being on Lake Wateree for quiet, privacy and so much more! So happy you enjoyed the game tables and had a blast!
Great House. Plenty of room, wonderful view of the lake. We will be back. Thanks, C. Jones
