Great Location!

The day we arrived and went to Ann O’Brien to pick up the keys our name was not on their list. After a quick moment of panic I found the email confirmation and they found the rental still in the owners name. Overall the house definitely served our purpose and having beach passes was great. The location was perfect, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, but it was very old and a very odd design. The a/c was not even at all throughout the house and the top bedroom was very hot. Also, being located on the main road parking was difficult and so was getting in and out of the driveway. The garbage only being picked up once a week on Wednesday’s was not sufficient at all. When we checked in on Saturday all of the garbage was overflowing out of 2 small garbage cans in the front yard from the previous weeks renters. It wasn’t appealing to see and not to mention if animals were to scratch open those bags I’m not sure who was picking all of that up! The house had beach chairs that were very old and moldy so we actually had to go buy some. So overall we still made it work and was fine but probably would not rent again.

Hi there. I am truly sorry that the trash was a problem. My husband had set up trash removal on Saturdays and Wednesdays and for whatever reason it didn’t get taken on that Saturday. Thank you for the positive feedback and constructive criticism. This is our second year renting and we are always wanting to improve what we can for families to have a wonderful vacation. We also had our rental company buy new beach chairs. We will put a window unit a/c in the top bedroom. The rest of the house always seems to be cool for us. We would love for you to come back next year. Please let us know if there is anything else we could do to make your stay better.

Great vacation home!

My family and I had a great time in this house. With 3 teenage sons, the bonus room was key space. Kitchen was great, the yard perfect for games and hanging out and there were plenty of beds and baths for a big family. The location was the best part! We will definitely be booking this again in 2020!
