Serene, romantic, private Mid Century Modern two bedroom house. Panoramic views of acres of rolling dunes. Sited on nearly one acre. Unique among properties in this price range. Enjoy a house of your own at a price rare for a two bdrm property. Sunday to Sunday rental.
Suitable for with remote work. High speed Wifi and Wifi laser printer available.
Living Rm: comfortable, custom upholstery, large windows, brand new Hunter Douglass window treatments.
Dining Area: Seats four. Marcel Bruer chairs, faces on to deck.
Outdoor deck: 275 sq ft west facing with sweeping views, furnished w deck chairs, chaise lounges, Weber grill, table umbrellas.
Two bedrooms: 1 with queen bed, other with 2 singles.
Kitchen: open, well supplied with new appliances and cookware. Countertop peninsula with seating.
Bath: full sized with tub and shower plus enclosed outdoor shower.
Storybook beautiful walks in any direction. 0.5 mi. to Fisher Beach. 12 miles to Provincetown. Magnificent sunsets from west 275 sq ft deck. Wild flowers all season.
Swim in bay, ocean or fresh water ponds. Surf, sail, fish, hike, bike, kayak, canoe, bird watch, run, finish that novel, listen to the surf, stare at the horizon, sip cocktails on the deck, gaze at the milky way, or do nothing at all. Fifteen years of outstanding tenant satisfaction.

Lovely, peaceful cottage

Inez's house is a perfect retreat. The location is ideal for the best Truro ocean beaches and easy shopping runs in Truro, but also wonderfully peaceful. Easy walking to lovely Fisher Beach on the Cape Cod Bay side. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, glassware, and essentials. The renovated parts of the house are especially comfortable and get great light, and the deck is a terrific place for grilling, morning coffee, or an evening drink. My partner and I found the house great for two, though the second bedroom makes an additional guest possible. All in all a fantastic Cape getaway.

Ideal for 2 or 3

We've been staying at this secluded gem for the past 4 years and plan to return! It is the perfect size for a couple and we've also stayed there with our adult son. The layout feels spacious even though it is not a large house. We particularly like the well maintained and refreshing outside shower and watching sunsets from the ample deck. Inez is an accessible and responsive landlord and attends to the many small details from year to year. She's gone out of her way to help us find left behind items after we had returned home. We consider this immaculately clean house the perfect getaway.

Heaven in Truro

We love this cottage, which is tastefully furnished and has a great location--just a short and lovely walk to Ryder Beach. The deck is wonderful for sunbathing, dining or curling up with a cup of coffee. The outdoor shower is another pleasure. The kitchen has all the supplies you need, the bed is comfy, and there's a great DVD collection, which we enjoyed. We will definitely return for another stay.

A real find

I've been traveling to the Cape for thirty years and have stayed in many different places. This beats them all. It is quiet, clean and airy. Not musty like many places. The kitchen has a good supply of cookware, so you can eat well at home. Breakfast on that deck in the morning is the best way to start the day. The owner sent helpful information well in advance so we were well prepared. The walk to the beach is about half a mile, but it is very scenic. On most days you can hear the surf. Very relaxing. Excellent Value.

Incredibly relaxing

Stayed at this cottage for a week a few summers ago and think of our vacation quite often. The house was perfect for my husband and I and the area was extremely quiet and private. Felt like our own personal hideaway from the world. Loved sunbathing and eating meals on the deck, listening to the amazing birds in the area (even saw my first hummingbird outside the window of the bedroom), smelled the breezes of the dunes, watched amazing sunsets on from the deck, loved showering in the outdoor shower, listened to a thunderstorm from the living room with all the windows open, relaxed and read books and watched movies, went for walks and visited the beach... everything was serene and perfect. Truro is a place like no other (certainly unlike the rest of the Cape in the summertime)... a quiet respite from everyday life. The cottage was a dream and completely clean and 100% true to the photos, if not better. Ines (the owner) was prompt and professional with booking our visit. Can't wait till I can save up and stay for another week... it was such a treat! 100% recommended!!

Lovely, peaceful getaway for a small family...

My husband, daughter and I spent a week in this idyllic tree-top hideaway during a semi-rainy week in June. This rental was so relaxing, and was still enjoyable on the days we bundled up indoors, and was close enough to the beach that we could make a quick trip when the clouds cleared. We especially appreciated how truly private this property feels, while there are a few neighbors on the road, we heard nary a peep from anyone during our stay. This was a welcome respite from the urban symphony we experience on a daily basis. The house was clean, exactly as portrayed in the listing (there were no surprises), and has tons of windows and light. It's small, but has everything you need, and the owner was responsive and professional in all of our communications. We would stay here again without any reservations.

So relaxing and sunny!

The best part of this house is it's location, snuggled behind a private road with expansive views and loads of sunlight all day including beautiful sunsets. You can walk to the beach and the house has everything you'd want -- cozy, simple and no hassle at all. Inez is very helpful and responsive. I've already booked for next year! Idyllic

This is a lovely 50s modernist retreat in Truro. The place is very private and surrounded by nature, yet very central to lots of fun beaches and towns on the Outer Cape. Highly recommended for those who want to get away from it all without being 20 miles in the woods. Have breakfast or watch the sunsets from the huge deck overlooking pristine Truro hills. The house was very clean and well appointed, but not over the top. Three great Truro beaches within a bicycle ride (one within walking distance) and easily accessible to restaurants in Wellfleet and Provincetown.
