This rustic 3 bedroom rental is nestled at the back of a large 2 acre lot and features an open concept living room, post and beam construction, and vaulted ceilings. Large windows and skylights allow for lots of natural light. Perfect for the family.

Conveniently located right between town and the beaches both are just a 5 minute drive away. The property is right on the bike path so if you can easily walk or bike to all the great amenities that this awesome town has to offer

We had a wonderful time at cedar surf ! Perfect spot for our little family getaway. Nice biking distance for young kids to tacofino and chocolate tofino for evening treat! Would stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Perfect forest hideaway

We were so pleased with the magical home tucked in the forest, surrounded by salal. It was such a lovely lay out for our family of five. We loved the kitchen nook for playing board games and the rooms off the open living room were perfect.

Absolutely perfect for a small family getaway

I feel like each space in this beautiful home and property will be remembered by our family for a long time. A perfect dining nook for dinners and cards, a beautiful deck, a spacious (but somehow still cozy) living room all tucked into a well treed property. The owner was excellent at communicating and very easy going and the location can not be beat! We are certainly going to be re-booking this space!

Tofino weekend

My group of friends and I stayed at the cedar surf cabin for a weekend in October. The wood burning stove was a huge hit; such a cozy living room and such a cool space overall. Very cute bedrooms, nice kitchen with everything we needed. It was very close to Tofino - walking distance to Mackenzie beach or Tofino brewing. Check in was easy. We loved it, definitely a return booking next year!

Quiet Little Getaway

The property was lovely! The decor was rustic cabin meets ikea, lol! It was warm when we arrived but once we opened the windows the breeze cooled it right off. The master had great ventilation with the French doors! Ceiling fans and plentiful windows kept the rest comfortable! We’d come again!😎

Cozy and Wonderful! Perfect family spot!

We stayed here for 4 nights in November and it was fantastic! My parents were visiting from out of town and joined my me, my husband, and our a newborn for a gettaway. The property was clean, roomy but cozy!! We had an amazing time. Location also was ideal - we walked every day to Tacofino (15 minutes) and to the beach. It took the house a little bit to warm up when we first arrived, but we had an indoor fire (wood was provided), and there was an extra space heater to warm the room our baby slept in. The host was great with responding to texts promptly. Would definitely recommend this spot and would absolutely book it again!

Location, location, location

The location is close to the Chesterman Beach and town. Very conveniently located and quiet at night. Based on my experience, the amenities were very rustic at luxury prices. I guess that’s what the location demands? Functional appliances, window dressings on the western facing windows and screens to create air flow at night would have gone a long way to making our sejourn at this quaint woodsy cabin more comfortable for all. Also if you’re not a dog person this isn’t for you.

Great location and lots of space

The house was cold when we first got there and the baeboard heaters took a long time to warm the place up. Need to keep a fire going to keep it warm in winter, but after a while we got used to it and it was kinda fun keeping the fire going while we were inside. Location is great, property is private even though there are others on it. Never heard a peep from anyone else on the property. Close to everything if you have a car. responsive owner, and overall a great place for a larger group. We'll definitely keep it in mind if we travel with a large group again!

November get away

We loved this house! It was in a great location for us- close to town and local beaches. The house had everything we needed and more to make all of our meals and even a birthday cake. We loved how cozy and private the house is and really enjoyed the comfortable living room. There was lots of space for all of us to relax after a day of hiking and exploring. We would love to come again :)

Very comfortable house

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was lovely and very well equipped. We had 6 people in our group, and our only complaint (first world problem) is that 6 people create a lot of dishes that need washing, and this property has no dishwasher. Also, the coffee maker was not working, but I'm sure that will be fixed right away. We felt very comfortable, and would definitely recommend this property.

Our stay was wonderful. We had ample parking (for two large vehicles) and check-in was smooth. We had everything we needed for our stay and the kitchen was well stocked which was awesome because we cooked most of our meals. Centrally located in a lovely area, we really truly loved our time here!

Cedar Surf a Delight

Cedar Surf is located in an enchanted forest with lots of windows and skylights that enhanced the natural light. It also made it interesting to watch the heavy rain drops that we had to contend with. It will not be a good place for people with mobility issues as there are stairs to reach it. But once you are in, it is just breathtaking . The place is huge with 3 bedrooms, all tastefully decorated and stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, supplies, fire wood for the wood burning fire stove, lots of candles, soaker tub , washer, dryer. Optic TV that had a huge selection of channels, Crave, Netflix etc which came in handly on rainy nights while we had the fire stove going. The garden around the home is natural and well maintained. Would definitely recommend to friends and will stay here again.

Perfect Family Getaway Spot

We had a wonderful, cozy, and memorable time at Cedar Surf. The wood stove was warm and inviting. Loved the beaches and trails in the area. The cabin worked so well for us being 4 adults and two kids. So many windows and skylights for natural lighting. We were amongst so many majestic trees - it felt like we were in a tree house. Charmant et bien situé

Beau petit chalet très bien situé à quelques minutes du centre ville de Tofino. Les plages sont à proximité. Super pour un séjour en famille. Petit point négatif: il y a un autre appartement dans le même immeuble et 2 autres sur la même propriété et il y a plusieurs chiens des voisins qui se promènent sans laisse, qui jappent et qui ont fait peur à notre enfant.

Retreat among the trees

Lovely, well appointed space. Very accessible to the beach as well as our family that had other accommodations along Pacific Rim Highway. Nice big deck with lots of sun in the afternoons.

We are right on the MUP (multi use path) There is also a bus stop right around the corner that allows you to access town and the beaches with regular pick up and drop offs ( note: the bus only operates in the summer months)
