1. The bed in the master bedroom is a king size, the bed in the bedroom at the front of the house on the first floor is a full size, and the 2 beds upstairs are queen size. You were given the option of bringing your sheets and towels or renting from Edisto Essentials – phone number. Some information on Edisto Essentials products should be on display on the shelves above the computer desk in the front entrance along with this information.

Wyndham Resort where the house is located has a number of amenities, To learn about these amenities go to the recreation center where they can explain the amenities and you can purchase a pass. A family pass costs $59 a day or $229 per week. A pass will give you access to 3 pools (1 heated), miniature golf course, basketball court, tennis courts, children’s playground, fitness center and a Cabana at the beach.

Great location and love the lagoon with the beautiful regrets and alligator. This was our 3rd year staying and we will continue to stay there every year. Nice upgrade with a 6 person golfcart now. My favorite place to stay in edisto.

This is the worst place we have ever stayed at as far as cleanliness. The toilets and tubs were gross! I did contact owner to see if he was aware, and he said he would send someone to clean, but who wants to be inconvenienced on their vacation while you have someone clean which should have been done prior to our arrival. Also, there were bugs everywhere and although we cannot confirm bedbugs, we can confirm that we were bitten by something at night while in bed with new bites every night. As far as space, the space was sufficient for our family with it being 4 bedrooms and the view of the lagoon was so nice. This place could really be a nice place if some attention would be put towards cleaning of the inside and pressure washing the outside. Just a little will go a long way with this one. We loved that it was pet friendly however be cautious that your pets cannot go off leash due to alligator possibly being in your yard.

The house was beautiful and in a beautiful location. But, it needed major updates, maintenance and cleaning. The porches were wonderful, but the porch furniture was unusable because of dirt. Our stay was pleasant, but we had to clean dishes and living areas before we used them. The Wyndham Resort was great with many amenities we all enjoyed often.

This house was so peaceful and just what we needed for our trip. The lagoon full of wildlife was amazing! There are a lot of steps so a lift would be an added bonus to get your stuff up and down, but we managed just fine!I would also suggest a good outside cleaning but even with that being said the wrap around deck was amazing!!! The birds, the turtles and the alligators were such a great feature, as well as the deer out front! I highly recommend this home and the host was great!

The neighborhood was great for taking our dog for a walk. The area was quiet and the house was comfortable. There are a bunch of stairs so if you have mobility issues be aware.

The location of the property was the best feature of this house. There were hundreds of egrets that would roost overnight in the trees behind the property. An alligator, eight turtles and countless fish inhabited the pond in the backyard. The inside of the property was cleaned but needed som attention. We had to service the vacuum cleaner in order to use it due to so much hair wrapped around the brush roll that it wouldn't turn. The intake for the air conditioner also needed attention.The beach chairs in the screened in lower patio were not in any condition to be useful. They need replaced. We were told there was a golf cart for use and upon reading the property rules and instructions, we found that there was another charge for the use of it.Over all, we really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed our walks among the oaks and pines that lined the golf course and the deer that bedded down just ouside the property's entrance. The last time my wife and I were in Edisto was 12 years ago when we first met. It was great to see that it hasn't lost it's beauty and charm!Every day we spent hours on the beaches with our Siberian Husky. This was the only beach we've been to where he would run into the calm waters from the shore without being lead into the water.

it is a great a property. At the end of a road, it felt quiet and safe. the nature off the back deck is amazing. Over a dozen turtles, birds roost for the night off the back deck, we even saw an Osprey.

The location of the property is just amazing as other reviewers have mentioned. The wildlife, including the gator was abundant. There was a nesting mama egret all week that we kept an eye on. It was also very quiet. I have been coming to Edisto since 1983, with my husband since 1989 and with our children since 1992 and have stayed in many different rentals. This past week we brought our twin granddaughters to continue the tradition. As mentioned the home is very comfortable and spacious. The interior was clean, the exterior could use some TLC but the views from the porch are priceless. We definitely would stay there again.

This is one of the nicest, most private home on Edisto Island. The location on the golf course and close to both the ocean and the bay make it ideal. In addition to the golf course, there are tennis courts, bike rentals and a game room in the Wyndham development.
