About this property

Beautiful stone property with 2 gîtes, outbuilding and heated swimming pool

Located 2 kilometers from the sea, these old thatched cottages
covered today with natural slate,
have been renovated with harmoniously combined materials
that give them the atmosphere
warm and friendly of yesteryear. . .
lime plaster and exposed granite stones
for the walls, the oak beams for the frame,
and flamed terracotta for the floor.
Inside the 7 bedrooms, you can enjoy a warm decoration
brought largely by the old-fashioned construction:
 the light shade of the poplar planks placed on the trusses of the exposed framework
the granite stones constituting the gables, the chimneys and the top of the facade walls,
 lime plaster and solid chestnut flooring.
A 4 M X 8 M HEATED AND COVERED POOL (May to September)
It is covered with a high arched wooden shelter, with double sliding side panels, including a guard rail of 1.15 m to guarantee the safety of children. The swimming pool is for private use

Wonderful authentic rustic property that makes you feel you belong to this beautiful part of France. Well equipped kitchen, lovely log fire, the swimming pool really made a big difference for us. The host Olivier, could not have been more helpful & accommodating, our stay will always remain as as special memory - highly recommend

Lovely traditional stone house for family holiday

The property was spacious and accommodated our large family group, with the added benefit of the separate house enabling baby and grandparent naps in the afternoon. The pool was great and the very long tables perfect for our big meals. Olivier was a great host, very helpful and communicative. The listing was wrong as to the number of single beds but he was able to provide a spare mattress (we needed a room with two singles where there was only a double) and he was quick to respond

beautiful house with great pool close to the sea

we were two families with 5 adults and 7 children and did spend 3 weeks during the summer in both houses. We enjoyed the huge kitchen/living room in the bigger house and could all sit at one table for diner. The kids loved the pool and that they could go to the beach by bicycle. Olivier is very helpful in case anything is needed. Would definitely recommend

Une belle maison au calme adaptée pour recevoir plein d’amis. La possibilité d’utiliser le poële pour les soirées un peu fraîches est bien agréable. Il y a plein de balades possibles alentour et la mer et le port de Lesconil sont tout proches Les hôtes Myriam et Olivier sont très arrangeants sur les horaires d’arrivée et de départ et très sympathiques. Bien envie de revenir un été pour un plus long séjour dans ce bel endroit et profiter en plus de la piscine.

Propriété agréable et propriétaire arrangeant sur les heures d'arrivée et de sortie. Parfaitement équipé pour cuisiner, manger et dormir sans problèmes pour 13 personnes. Nous y reviendront peut être durant l'été pour profiter de la piscine et de l'extérieur ! :)

La maison d'Olivier a été parfaite pour le séjour de 2 jours pour passer cette nouvelle année entre amis. Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement avec un feu dans la cheminée. Très bien placée près de la mer, le 2nd gite est un plus pour avoir un peu plus de calme avec les enfants en bas age

Super emplacement. Beaux gîtes confortables, bien aménagés, bien équipés, adaptés à un séjour familial avec enfants et PMR. Idéal pour deux familles : chacune dispose de son indépendance. La présence du poêle est un plus appréciable en décembre.
