On the borders of Gard, Herault, Aveyron, it is located in a beautiful private hamlet, on the family estate of 145 hectares: "Le Hameau de Belfort" which is a 13th century fortified town. remarkable silhouette is visible from afar by the South or the East.
"Le Sureau" dominates the plateau at an altitude of 800 meters, with an exceptional 360 ° view, its natural swimming pool and access to the whole area make it a haven for your holidays.
The domain is located 2 km from the Cirque de Navacelles:
 The most prestigious site in the valley of the Vis, grandiose, breathtaking .... Fleuron of the southern Cévennes or the region "Causses and Cevennes", ... It is classified world heritage of humanity by UNESCO.

Relaxing holiday in spectacular setting

We were warmly welcomed by Mr and Mrs Benoit and their friends English Setter Tim. The gîte itself is beautiful set, providing privacy even though there are 2 other gîtes nearby. The natural pool and the surroundings offer spectacular views. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and ample space for our 2 daughters who had their own room, just outside main house.

Gîte très confortable et très bien équipé dans un ancien hameau. Bon accueil des propriétaires, mais le gîte est assez loin de toutes commodités et sites d’intérêt (hormis Navacelles).

Un cadre magnifique et un gîte confortable et agréable

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille avec nos deux enfants de moins de deux ans. La vue est à couper le souffle, les propriétaires accueillants, le logement est meublé avec goût et la propriété est très agréable. Il faut juste faire attention avec la piscine pour les enfants; mais nous reviendrons très volontiers

Wir hatten wegen des Pools gebucht - und dieser hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt und sogar übertroffen, tiptop gepflegt und regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns mit vielen Vorschlägen unterstützt. Sehr angenehme Kommunikation. Vollständige Ausstattung mit allem, was man benötigt. Sehr lohnenswerte/interessante Ausflugsziele (Natur und historisch) in der näheren Umgebung. Dicke Empfehlung für Familien!

Des vacances merveilleuses

Situé dans un endroit calme, dépaysant, un très beau gite, propre, extra bien équipé. Des propriétaires accueillants, un cadre naturel et une très belle découverte pour nous. Je ne peux que recommander à 200 % ce gite, et cette région des Cévènnes qui fut un coup de coeur pour nous. Merci encore aux hôtes !

Ein Traumhaus in herrlicher Landschaft

Wer es gerne ruhig und einsam mag, ist hier genau richtig. Das Steinhaus auf der Hochebene ist wunderschön und herrlich gelegen. Bis auf zwei weitere Häuser ist man ganz für sich und muss etliche Kilometer fahren, um wieder auf andere Menschen zu treffen. Wir fanden es perfekt. Unsere Kinder waren total begeistert von dem Pool. Joggen kann man sehr gut, aber vorsichtig: In der Dämmerung kann man Wildschweine, Schafe und Hirtenhunde treffen. Das Haus ist geräumig und hat alles, was man benötigt, um für sechs Leute zu kochen. Es gibt einen extra Tiefkühler und eine Waschmaschine. Man muss manchmal ein wenig länger fahren, um Ausflüge machen zu können, aber das hielt sich in Grenzen und wer mit dem Morgenkaffee die wunderbare Aussicht geniessen kann, vermisst definitiv nicht das Mallorca Nachtleben. Für Teenager: Ein Hochseilgarten ist nicht weit entfernt und Kanu fahren kann man auch. Das entschädigt das nicht so perfekte WLAN.
