The home was as advertised. Kitchen was stocked well with baking dishes and pans. Could use more forks for large families. The view was beautiful and the sunrise worth getting up for. The host is great to work with.
Beautiful cabin tucked away down a dirt road south of Jasper. The drive is definitely worth it. The view is phenomenal and the cabin was outstanding with excellent accommodations. Fantastic kitchen, master suite, and hot tub. Easy and relatively quick access to the Buffalo River.
The house and view were amazing. We didn’t find much to do in the area, but the house was great. The kitchen had everything needed to fix family meals. The kids enjoyed the pool table. Overall it was a great family weekend.
Beautiful, peaceful place with amazing views. Great place to spend time with the family. Enjoyed the close hiking trails. The wildflowers were at there peak and saw so many zebra swallowtail butterflies.
It was the perfect place to view the solar eclipse in totality. Would go there again.
From ages 1-82 we all enjoyed our stay and will rent again next year for our Family Christmas. It is the perfect space for our group of 13, so much open space and the kitchen is large enough for multiple cooks. Plenty of seating and room for littles to run. My eight year old grandson said, “ the cherry on top of this trip would be snow”
We had our wedding party at Gaston’s View with family and friends, it was spectacular. The hosts were gracious enough to help us work on rescheduling when we needed it. Only downside is that i wish we could have stayed longer!!!
The property was just as we thought it would be. The view was second to none! The host was very responsive to questions prior to the stay-we had no questions once we were there. For those who are wondering, there is a Keurig and full size coffee pot! The only complaint I would have is the wi-fi was very slow and didn't work at times. This is understandable due to location of the cabin. It wasn't a bad thing to "disconnect" for the weekend. We plan to make this a yearly tradition!
Thanks for a wonderful place to stay with our family of 16. The cabin is so comfortable and well stocked with everything you need for a week of fun. We loved the view and took lots of photos. The 8 kids enjoyed hanging out in the game room.
We were very disappointed at the lack of communication. I reached out in August, the first of November and again on the 18 th of November asking about availability of wood. Finally Heard from someone named Haley at 9:00 pm the night before traveling telling us to bring wood so we had to repack and load our car late at night. Then there was wood available on Monday he property.
Tried to report a lack of hot water for 2 days with no response. Finally heard from someone after numerous emails voicemails and messages and the problem was resolved. Also the VRBO line was not in service.
We had to replace batteries in the thermostat and all remote controls. These inconveniences were very frustrating.
Thank you.

We loved this cabin! We were greeted with smores supplies and felt very welcome. We were able to spread out and also come together for meals and family games. The views are beautiful and it was a great place to watch it storm and enjoy sunshine. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
What an incredible house and location -- we could not get over the view from the front patio and windows. House had all of the amenities as advertised, plus a few extras that made the stay so much more fun (s'mores station and polaroid camera, looking at you!). Would 100% come back and stay here! Only thing to note is that there is very little cell service (as you would expect for being in the middle of the Ozarks) and the internet was a little slow.
Awesome stay in the Ozark's! House and view were both wonderful. Lot’s of space for all 5 couples. Great hikes, floated the Buffalo and went side x siding! Kitchen was great for group cooking. Loved the solitude of the location. Owner/manager very good to work with! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Our family was really surprised to see and experience this cabin because it was true to all of the pictures and descriptions provided. Cabin is very spacious and lots of fun things to do both inside and outside. My grandchildren from age 17 months to 16 had a blast. The adults expressed how relaxing and enjoyable it was. Love the experience and would I do it again ? YES!!!
We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful- lots of room to spread out. Everything was clean. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook. Fantastic view. The house is remote- but the directions got us right there. Would highly recommend this house.
We loved the cabin for our family time together. We got married on the deck overlooking the most gorgeous view!
The pictures are amazing!
Had a beautiful dinner, so easy to prepare in the well equipped kitchen and grills. Beautifully stocked kitchen.
Everyone loved staying there!
Outstanding property. Very secluded location with terrific views. We hosted our 2 children and their spouses and our 3 grandsons ages 2-6 at the property. Plenty of room for all in this updated home that had the feel of a lodge with open common spaces, large bedrooms and bathrooms ample kitchen and dining. We enjoyed daily walks through the woods on the private road, soaking in the hot tub and making s’mores with the grand kids. Highly recommend this property to those seeking a memorable vacation with a group in the Jasper area.
Host is extremely responsive and helpful, hot tub is beautiful, fire pit was fun, awesome kitchen, very clean and well maintained, enjoyed time with our extended family, excellent recommendations for the area, gorgeous views on the deck, would love to stay again
We absolutely loved it. There was some thing for everyone to enjoy and the view was so breathtaking! Loved the space. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and just relaxing out on the beautiful deck. The master bedroom was amazing too!
