About the host
Hosted by Bill & Judy
We are retired, living in Boulder, CO, and enjoy Breckenridge often. Although we no longer downhill ski, we love the town and the great trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. In the warmer months, it's a great place for bicycling and hiking. We travel regularly to Europe to enjoy hiking in the Alps and Dolomites. We are avid hikers and cyclists when home.
Why they chose this property
GTL is a great location - on the mountain, away from the crowds, but walking distance to town. Breckenridge itself provides access for skiing, cross-country, snowshoeing, hiking, bicycling - you name it. A terrific place any time of year, a friendly true historic western town, not just a 'ski village'.
What makes this property unique
Excellent on-site restaurant and lounge. Grand Timber also offers free shuttle service to town and local restaurants, and the town itself offers free buses to anyplace you'd need to go. You can also catch the free Summit Stage if you want to ski at Copper Mountain or Keystone for a day or two.
