Beautiful Cabin at Aberdeen Lodge on Manitowish Chain
Enjoy the northwoods with your closest friends and family in a newly remodeled log cabin on the shores of the 4000 acre Manitowish Chain of Lakes.
Aberdeen Resort was created in 1997 with the northwoods in mind. Situated on 36 acres, the property boasts a full service northwoods restaurant and bar. You will experience privacy, seclusion and wildlife (as we have seen deer(albino), eagles, bears, otters, loons, and various other northwoods critters.
Our Cabin is situated between Alder lake and Manitowish Lake on the water. We have 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Our cabin is cozy and inviting, welcoming conversation amongst friends. Directly across the driveway is a playground situated in the shadows of towering pines. The restaurant is a short 2 minute walk from our front door. We have a firepit next to our cabin and along the beach is another. Many evenings you will find guests sitting by the campfire listening to the sounds of nature and gazing at the uncountable stars.
You can enjoy world class musky fishing as the chain is Class A muskie waters. Smallmouth bass fishing is spectacular, largemouth, northern, panfish, and walleye are all common. Personal record is 44' muskie, 23' smallmouth, and 18' walleye.
Your day can be filled going fishing, water-skiing, boating, hiking, biking, visiting one of the many lakeside restaurants. At night, relaxing at the Lodge while the kids play in the game room watching movies and playing with toys. For winter activities, we are located a couple of hundreds yards off a main snowmobile trail. Cross country skiing is out the front door and downhill skiing is 40 minutes away in the U.P. Michigan.
Our property is geared toward families, as kids will find the playground, beach, fishing off the dock, and exploring memorable and never boring. Families are often found making new friends that they see year after year.

We had a magical time! The cabin was spotless, well maintained in the perfect setting in the woods. It was lovely to walk to dinner at Aberdeen - great food there. We 100% recommend and will be returning!

Overall a great stay, very nice authentic log cabin in the woods. Had everything we needed inside. Kids loved the bunkbed and large living room to play in. Beds were very comfortable downstairs.
We had a great family trip as we always do in the Northwoods. This cabin provided everything that we needed and was a relaxing stay. Hope to see this place again.
What a beautiful Northwoods Cabin. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our vacation. We loved the quiet location, close to the water, with access to docks for fishing and mooring our boat. We will definitely be returning for another vacation!
Our ski weekend at the Aberdeen Cabin was very enjoyable for all of us. Our two youngest granddaughters loved the bunk beds! Our host, Scott was very easy to communicate with and very prompt.
We had a lovely visit to the area. Went for the biking and once again were not disappointed. The cabin was very nice with a very short walk to a sweet swimming beach. Will definitely return.
The house was well maintained and cozy. We had a wonderful time in Manitowish! One note, maybe a few extra kitchen towels since there is not a dishwasher and no washing machine. But overall, great house!!
This was a great place to stay while we did a Mtn Bike weekend in the north woods. The cabin had all the needed amenities yet is tucked nicely into the trees giving it a very secluded feel. There is very little traffic and it’s nice and quiet. We even saw some albino deer wandering through. I’d gladly stay here again.

Thanks Steve. Glad you enjoyed your stay. The albino deer have seemed to taken up residence on the property.
Nice cabin close to Manitiwish Waters. It had a well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. It could use some unbreakable child friendly cups and dishes. We enjoyed the use of the rowboats and canoes.
Had a great stay. Very clean and well appointed, comfortable beds, real log cabin with rustic decor throughout, quiet and feels very isolated but easy to find and right down the road from the restaurant one direction, and boat docks the other. We rented a pontoon boat and kayaks thru the lodge which was convenient. Cooked out on the deck and made s'mores in the fire pit. Highly recommend.
