The apartment Costa, renewd in 2022, is a very nice 3 bedrooms apartment with a nice little garden, in a strategic spot of Alghero, exactly between the beach at 100 meters and the old town

- 2 rooms with kingsize bed,
- 1 room with a double bed,
- 1 bathroom with shower completely renewed in 2022
- 1 big livingroom elegantly furnished, ideal to relax after a beach day to drink a glass of wine or simply relax reading a book. (Please note that most of the apartments do not have this livingroom space)
- 1 kitchen,
- one terrace overlooking a internal courtyard (with table-chairs, ideal to eat outside)
- a small terrace overlooking the plum trees in the garden with table and 2 chairs.


Fully equipped with kitchen, fridge with freezer, oven, washingmachine, safebox, TV, Internet Wifi.

This property does not have any swimming pool! Some hotels nearby (300 to 750 meters distance) allow to use of the hotel's pool by buying snacks or by paying an entrance fee.

POSITION:
The apartment is greatly located in the center of Alghero between the beach and the old town
The address is VIA COSTA in ALGHERO.
Central location but still quiet, without the traffic noise of the LIDO street, and with free parking in the neighbourhood.

- Just 100 meters from a big and beautiful free access white sandy beach. This beach is suitable also for children.
- There are some beach cafe for a excellent morning coffee in front of the sea or a nice aperitivo at sunset with music.
- The old town and the harbour are, are reachable by a 10 min walk through a nice boulevard in front of the sea.

So you don’t need to use the car to go to the old town, (So NO problem to find parking places, traffic, or car-park tickets).

There are 2 big supermarket just 100-150 meter from the apartment, and pizzerias, restaurant, bank, pharmacy, airport bus stop, shops, cafes, are whitin walking distance.

Beach bus stop and airport bus stop within 200 meters.

Great stay in Alghero

We had a great time in Alghero enhanced by the apartment. Great vibe, easy access to the beach and a short walk to the old town. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Highly recommend.

Spacious pet friendly apartment with pretty garden and additional shaded balcony perfectly located 5 minutes from Alghero beach and 15 min walk along the lido promenade to the historic walled city. Free parking outside in the road or car park. Two supermarkets nearby. We had our car and could explore the area including the spectacular sunset at Capo San Marco. Gabri and his lovely mother were perfect hosts. We hope to stay again

Simply Great!

Bongiorno! Just a quick note to show our appreciation for our fantastic time here in Alghero. The space and the location of yothe ur apartment are simply great! Beach, supermarket and city center are all very nearby. We know there are nice beaches all over Sardinia but the beach "right in front of our door" was already perfect for us and the kids. It's shallow, clear water and without any rocks or stones. so basically this is where we did spend 80% of our time. The apartment was clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped! It was all we needed... Well, we just really enjoyed our time here, and we are quite sure we will come back in Alghero! Gabri, you are lucky you can stay here all year round!

Location, location, location!

Gabri’s place is extremely well situated, with long sandy beach, shops, and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The historic and picturesque old town of Alghero is only a short walk further past the harbour. And the airport is a 10-15 minute drive. What a splendid location. We were very happy here without a car. It’s a delightful and spacious apartment with 3 good-sized bedrooms, a large living room and 2 small terraces. The shady terrace looks over the car park and other buildings but is quiet and a good place for lunch out of the sun. The twin room is probably better suited to children as the beds are not of the same standard as the double beds. The kitchen is well equipped and you can cook some of the delicious local produce. Sardinian cheeses, meat and seafood are amazing, and the local wine delicious. Thank you Gabri for the bottle of Vermentino to welcome us. The 1500 piece jigsaw was a real challenge! Gabri’s mother Terry made us very welcome and explained everything really clearly. Gabri’s notes about the apartment and places to go were very informative, thank you. Our first trip to Sardinia but we’ll be back!

Well situated city apartment

The property is well positioned, being just a couple of minutes walk from the sea front and a similar distance from a very good supermarket. It is around a mile - 20 mins - stroll (along the sea front) to the fascinating old walled town. This became a regular evening event. When we arrived the apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. The rooms are of good size, although the kitchen is quite small - however it had everything we needed. We were given a personal introduction to the apartment and so were quickly up to speed. There was generally parking in the street close by, or in a free car park at the end of the road (3 mins walk). The only downside was the lack of a view (particularly from the balcony) - but we were aware of that in advance of our stay. Once it was dark - eg if we sat there for our evening meal - this became unimportant. We had good communication with Gabri, the owner - and his mother Terry met us at the apartment and also checked in by phone midway through to see that we were happy with everything. Contact with Gabri prior to and during our holiday was effective and he always responded promptly and curteously to any queries. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you.

Perfektes Apartment

Super schöner Urlaub in Alghero, die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, geräumig, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Terry und Gabri haben immer sofort geantwortet und alles ist einfach nur perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen. Man ist sofort in der Altstadt und in 3 Min am Strand. Der Stadtstrand von Alghero ist super schön.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, nur ca 100m vom Meer entfernt und ist gleichzeitig sehr ruhig. Der Kontakt mit Gabri und seiner Mutter war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und die beiden waren jederzeit erreichbar. Kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

Insgesamt sehr gut, wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Wohnung war wie beschrieben, sehr gut gelegen und ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist für 4 Personen ausreichend, für mehr Personen unserer Ansicht nach zu klein. Küche ist sehr klein was für den Urlaub ausreicht, es kann jedoch nur eine Person darin arbeiten. Auch der Kontakt vor Ort war super. Uns wurde direkt weitergeholfen, es gab immer ein Ansprechpartner! Vielen Dank!!!

Terry et Gabri sont de supers hôtesses ! Elles nous ont fournies des informations précieuses pour découvrir la région. Accueil et informations en amont au top ! L'appartement est bien et il correspond parfaitement à l'annonce. Seule la cuisine mériterait un rafraichissement et en période chaude (c'était le cas pour nous), la climatisation aurait été appréciable. Ces détails ne nous pas empêchés de passer un superbe et confortable séjour.

Schöne große Wohnung auf wunderschöner Insel

Die Wohnung lag wenige Schritte entfernt vom schönen Strand und wenige Laufminuten entfernt von der malerischen Altstadt Algheros. Es war eine perfekte Entscheidung die Insel von Alghero aus zu entdecken. Eine wunderschöne Insel mit traumhaften Orten und beeindruckenden Landschaften. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Family holiday in Algehero

We had an amazing holiday in Algehero. The apartment ticked all the boxes. It was spacious, very clean and the host was great from start to finish. It was near all the beaches, supermarket and walking distance to the old town of Algehero. We will definitely be re booking for next year to stay in the same apartment.

Prima verblijf. In omgeving boulevard en strand. Oude centrum op 10 min lopen.

Zeer net, ruim en schoon appartement. Gastvrije en flexibele ontvangst door de eigenaresse. Auto kan in directe omgeving gratis aan de weg worden geparkeerd. Supermarkten op 5 min loopafstand. Het is een mooie locatie op ook meer van het noorden van Sardinië te ontdekken (Bosa 1 uur, Castelsardo 1:15 uur, Stintjno 1 uur, Nettuno 0:45 uur).

Casa bellissima!

Abbiamo soggiornato l'utima settimana di giugno in 5 ...casa molto spaziosa, perfettamente attrezzata e funzionale, arredata con cura e gusto, pulitissima e dotata di tutti i confort, fresca e arieggiata. Gabriele host molto puntuale e preciso nelle comunicazioni. Ottima l'accoglienza ricevuta all'arrivo da parte di Maurizio. La posizione perfetta permette di raggiungere il centro e la spiaggia in pochi minuti a piedi ma al contempo in zona tranquilla lontano dal traffico. Sempre vicinissimi supermercato e bar.

Very nice apartment in great location

The apartment was perfect for us and our 3 children. There was everything we needed to spend a great holiday in Alghero. The apartment is placed very close to the beach as well as restaurants and big supermarkets. The host is very polite and ready to fullfil additional requests. Thank you very much for the great time!

Sehr geräumige, saubere Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Wir haben unsere Urlaubswoche in Alghero sehr genossen. Schon im Vorfeld hat Gabri alle unsere Fragen sehr schnell beantwortet. Beim Check-In hat uns Terry sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Wir konnten jederzeit auf sie zurückgreifen. Die Wohnung liegt nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Bis in die wunderschöne, stets belebte Altstadt waren es nur ein Fußweg von 10 Minuten entlang der Strandpromenade. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sodass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Sie bot für unsere vierköpfige Familie mehr als genug Platz und war mit liebevollen Details ausgestattet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die wertvollen Tipps aus Gabris ausführlicher Infomappe enthielten Ausflugsziele, Kontaktadressen, Restaurants etc. und haben uns sehr schöne Erlebnisse ermöglicht. Den Check-Out konnten wir wie schon den Check-In zeitlich sehr flexibel gestalten. Wir danken Terry und Gabri für die tolle Woche in Alghero und würden jederzeit wieder bei ihnen buchen.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gabrielle & Terry‘s flat! The apartment is very big and there was enough space for 4 adults & a baby! (They lent us a Babybed) The apartment is really close to the beach and the supermarket; city center and the market are in walking distance! The communication with the owner was really nice, every question got answered and the checkin/checkout were very easy! They even let us stay a bit longer the day of our departure as our flight was late! Furthermore we got towels, bed linen and the kitchen was fully furnished. All in all we really had a great stay in Alghero! Thank you very much!

Great family holiday in Alghero

With 2 teenage sons, having a reasonable amount of space is important and the apartment was perfect; it had plenty of space and all the bedrooms were at least double with lots of space and storage. The apartment was very well equipped, it had everything we needed including fans for each bedroom. The apartment was exceptionally close to the main Lido beach and walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants and bars. The old town, about a 15 minutes walk away was absolutely beautiful, we all loved it. The hosts, Gabi and her Mother Terry could not have been any more helpful. They provided lots of advice in advance of our stay; met us at the apartment on arrival making sure we knew where everything was and how things worked and met us on departure to ensure our taxi arrived on time. Extremely helpful and very friendly. Alghero and the surrounding area is lovely, the water is crystal clear, good food, a great place to visit.

Unfortunately our holiday is over. We had a wonderful week - the best week ever I would say. The weather was marvellous and the locals so friendly. Every place was beautiful and everything so convenient. We fell in love with Alghero and Sardinia. Sardinia is such a magical place ! It was our first time and it certainly won't be our last. We are recommending it to everybody.


Our holiday started off on a very high note by meeting your mother who is a wonderfully charming person. She presented us with a lovely Easter welcoming gift. That you both so much for that very kind act.
The apartment was great - quiet, very comfortable, spacious and with a wonderful terrace.
The position of the apartment is, as you said yourself, ideal - only a short and beautiful stroll to the old town and only 80m from the crystal clear Sardinian seawater. We have never before seen such beautiful seawater.
We hired bikes on 2 days and went towards Porto Conte. I swam in the sea at a small beach just past Le Bombarde. I also swam 2 days in Alghero near the apartment without my wetsuit and it was lovely - much warmer water there. Next time I will bring snorkelling equipment !
We were delighted with the restaurants, especially as they were all seafood, which we love. These are the best restaurants we have ever experienced. We really enjoyed your recommendations - Maristella, Mabrouk and especially Il Vecchio Molino where we went three times.
As you can see, we were busy, but never under stress as everything was so convenient.
We intend coming back next year. We are thinking of trying electric bikes next time.
