Atlantic Ocean, Steps to beach..only one house behind ocean front. This house rents quick so grab your week quick. New kitchen installed on second floor over looking 7 miles of beach...incredible views. Front to back great room. Memories to last a lifetime. Approx. 75 feet to beach.

The layout is as follows: 1st floor: kitchen, Living room, butlers pantry, sun room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, mudroom ,washer and dryer. 2nd floor: open space, new kitchen with granite, Stainless appliances, new master bedroom, 2nd be room w/ queen bed, 2 new bathrooms, new living room, new french doors off the kitchen, hard wood, tile, One living rooms have queen size beds, New french doors off master, Plasma TV, surround sound and gas fireplace.

There are no parties allowed, this is for family entertainment only, we reserve the right to keep deposit and have renters removed immediately! We need a list of all members who are staying in the house upon arrival

The beach views were specular, and just a few steps away from great morning and evening strolls on the beach. It was a great spot for our extended family celebration. The house is well situated, both in location and amenities. The host was great with answering our questions and providing advice.

The house is located just steps from the beach. It was close enough to the pier area but far enough to be quiet and private. The size of the house was perfect for our party (5 adults, 2 teens & a small dog) and the fenced-in backyard and parking are great perks.

This property is located steps from a fairly quiet beach on the OOB/Scarborough line. You can easily walk to the Pier or take the trolley for $2 per person.

Everything about this stay was perfect! Pauline had all details written out and ready with keys at our arrival. She was always ready to help if something was needed too. As for the house, it was great! It couldn’t have been any closer to the water and it had all the amenities you could need. I hope we can find availability in the future as well!

I really liked the location of our vacation house and the owners were great. Loved the beach area also. plenty of room for our family and it was neat and clean. wish there had been air conditioning because it was hot that week. Overall we had a wonderful time .

A perfect week

Had a fabulous time at this wonderful seaside home.. it had everything we needed and we were just steps to the beach. The owners were wonderful and very quick to address any questions. There were 5 adults and 6 kids and we had plenty of room. It was a wonderful vacation spot and one we would all go back to!

Great Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the beach and ocean views. It is a great location to be steps from beach access and a reasonable walk to the Old Orchard Pier, shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable. The house has been nicely updated and it has great furniture and appliances. There are ample supplies available. Plenty of beach chairs, towels etc. The owners are responsive and accessible.

Feel like you are home...but with a beach!

This house was exactly as advertise. We had plenty of room for all of us. We were able to eat upstairs, downstairs and on the deck, while listening to the music from the nearby Tiki Bar! The beach chairs were first class and very easy to carry to the beach, which was only a few steps away. Thanks for providing a wonderful house to enable us to have a great time.

Top notch accomodations!

We really enjoyed our stay at Parcher by the Sea! Plenty of room for everyone and all our stuff. I loved cooking in the kitchen and having everyone line up at the huge counter to share meals. This house has the best of both worlds - downstairs is a bit more rustic, where upstairs is a little fancier. Just steps to the beach! Pauline and Steve were friendly and responsive hosts who maintain this lovely home with care. We would gladly stay here again!

Premier Property

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this house, just steps from our favorite beach. Plenty of room for the eight of us, super clean, well stocked from towels to any kitchen items you may ever need! Loved all the beach decorations and the reverse living idea. The owners were extremely prompt in answering any questions we had, no matter how small. I would absolutely rent this property again. Great Location, Excellent Property, Beautiful Beach

Really enjoyed our stay at this home. Just a very short walk to a great beach. The home fit my family just right. The home is fitted with all the amenities and kitchenware needed. Very large commercial refrigerator made it very easy to load up on groceries for the week. Very nice gas stove and oven for cooking. Pauline is a very involved property owner who wants to ensure that your stay is a great experience. Looking forward to coming back next year. Bruce Bentley

OOB in late June

House was in a perfect location….almost right on the beach and 1 mile from the pier/downtown. Nice master bedroom. Freezer only on first floor. Upstairs kitchen has new appliances with plenty of counter space. Bedrooms are pretty small. House fits 8 adults comfortably. Owner was very responsive and friendly. Plenty of parking available. Lots of good restaurants close by.

Wonderful family vacation !!

Just returned from 7 wonderful fun filled days at this home. The house is literally steps from the beach and the beach front is bar none the nicest, most private and cleanest on the strip. The house was the perfect size for us (3 families -2 adults and 2 kids each) . The open kitchen on the 2nd floor overlooking the ocean was just perfect for breakfast with all the kiddos and the adults spent many a night on the balcony off the kitchen enjoying some drinks and conversation. The owner Pauline is so warm , kind and helpful and only a phone call away. We are from New York and this was our first visit to Maine and I speak for all of us when I say we were impressed by the kind people , wonderful restaurants and beautiful scenery Orchard Beach / Portland has to offer. We will definitely be back and hope to have many more fun times at this perfect vacation home!

Great Beach Get-away

We enjoyed staying at 5 Parcher Avenue very much. Loved that it was right at the beach and glad we were away from town. The weather was perfect. The only thing that was a mild inconvenience was not having a refrigerator with an ice machine on the main living area. Since I read the previous reviews I was prepared for the room with the queen size bed and it worked out OK. One suggestion for that room is maybe put in a shelf or small dresser instead of the two bed side tables. Like I mentioned previously, we really enjoyed the closeness of the beach to the house and being able to go to the Tiki Bar right beside our property was a plus! I would highly recommend this property to others.
