Chamonix 86- Walk to Slopes at Canyon Lodge

Budget-friendly 2-bedroom plus loft, 3-bathroom townhome within walking distance of the Canyon Lodge Ski Area in Mammoth Lakes. Sleeps up to 8 guests.

Each primary bedroom features a queen bed with an ensuite bathroom. The loft, enclosed except for the stairwell area, includes a queen bed and a twin roll-away bed. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper for additional guests.

This three-level townhome is accessed through an enclosed mudroom. The first floor houses the two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, the second floor contains the living room, kitchen, and dining area, and the third floor is the loft with the third full bathroom located off the stairwell halfway up. Two outdoor parking spaces are included.

Guests have access to Chamonix amenities, including a recreation room with a large-screen TV, reading area, ping pong, and foosball, as well as a sauna, hydro spas, seasonal/summer swimming pool, and summer BBQ area. Coin-operated laundry facilities are conveniently located near the office.

You pay for location

It has had very little updates to the property. Dish washer was not working, lighting needed to be replaced, remote to TV did not work, heater in bedroom did not work. It is a easy location to walk to Canyon lodge, and that is what you are paying for, not the comfort of the condo.

Chanonix stay

We stay in Mammoth frequently. The location of the condo for skiing cannot be beat. A very quick walk to Canyon Lodge. The description is accurate and central reservations was helpful when we had a couple of issues. The main issue is the quality of the unit. It needs a lot of work, including peeling paint and dirty carpets. Also the walls are incredibly thin and on different nights units on either side of us had gatherings that went late into the night and were extremely hard to sleep through

Good location

Carpet was dirty! Upstairs shower didn’t drain well. Pull out couch had old cheese balls when we took it out and there was a huge stain on the mattress. Overall it was a place to stay and we made the best of it.
