Super clean and very cozy cabin in a quiet area of Townsend. Loved having a screened in porch and the recliners were great for relaxing after a day of hiking.
Simple Pleasures is a lovely cabin! We really enjoyed our stay here. The back porch/deck area is nice, the kitchen is well-stocked, and the overall layout of the cabin worked well for our family. The road leading to the cabin is fully paved and wide enough, which is sometimes an issue with mountain cabins. Some parts of the road are quite steep, which might make winter travel difficult, but overall, it is a wonderful cabin and we would definitely recommend it.
Simple Pleasures checked all the boxes for my family while visiting the Smokys. A very well-equipped cabin that appeared very new to us. Didn't look like the stove had ever been used! Easy in and out and very accessible to Townsend, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Cades Cove. A great stopping place when visiting the Smokys.
Simple Pleasures was the perfect place for a family getaway. We were in town for a wedding with 2 adult children. Everyone had their own space and 2 bathrooms definitely helped the process of getting everyone ready on time! The cabin was conveniently located near shops, eateries, and the wedding venue. The host was very communicative so we felt well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Our cabin was wonderful and so are the hosts. It happened to be unusally cold for that time of year and when we walked in, it was so nice and warm! Thank you for thinking ahead for us. Not all my family was as lucky!! The cabin was beautiful, cozy and clean. We overly enjoyed the fireplace and the furniture was very comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay!!Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!Georgiana
Short getaway to experience the national park. Very convenient location, beautiful setting and great accommodations. Host very responsive when we had questions. Perfect place for 2 couples. Hope to return sometime when we can stay longer.
The cabin was so nice and Jo, the property manager, went out of her way to answer questions we had including a visit to the cabin. The location was wonderful for our visit to Cade’s Cove.
Simple Pleasures was perfect for our family of 4, situated in a quiet gated community in peaceful Townsend. We especially enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner out in the screened in porch while hearing many birds and watching squirrels eating in the treetops. We even had two sightings of a black bear and one sighting of a black coyote, all leisurely walking by the cabin at dusk. The kitchen and bathroom had the essentials to get started with our stay, supplemented with our own supply of dish soap and toilet paper. We enjoyed being close to the Smoky National Park, accessing Cades Cove and hiking Abrams Falls and the Middle Prong Trail from the Tremont area. We also enjoyed the local cavern tour and riding horses for an hour at the Davy Crockett Riding Stables. The only extensive driving we did was to drive to Hartford to white water raft through Smoky Mountain Outdoors, which was well worth the drive and highly organized upon our arrival. On the way home from Hartford, we passed through Gatlinburg and enjoyed our time at the Ripley's Aquarium. Lastly, we enjoyed the local shops in Townsend and stopping at the Bear Restoration Center and learning about efforts to help injured or non-thriving bears in the area. We hope to make it back and again stay in Townsend and at this cabin or at the very least, in the Laurel Valley Golf Community.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Simple Pleasures cabin. The cabin was exactly as described and very clean. Check in was easy too. The location was perfect for easy access to the Smoky Mountain National Park for site seeing and hiking, while also not too far of a drive to Pigeon Forge.
We had a wonderful stay at Simple Pleasures! The host, Jo, was amazing! She had thought of everything we would need and was very responsive to any questions we had while staying in the cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was decorated with a Christmas tree and the cutest Christmas decor. It was great! Jo is so thoughtful! We had a great stay and plan on coming back again when it is warmer and we can enjoy the outdoor screened in porch.

Simple Pleasures is a lovely, comfortable cabin in a beautiful location. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds and bedding! It's in a quiet location but close to all the activities of the area. On a more personal note, I have loved the novel "Christy" since I was a child, so seeing the street names in the area always made me smile. Great communication with the owner and easy check-in. We hope to return!

A good day for me is a satisfied and happy guest! A great day for me is a return guest! I will do anything I possibly can to help you make your stay with us one for the memory books! If you are celebrating something special - please reach out and let me know how I can help you make it fabulous! If you need groceries picked up from Kroger and delivered to the cabin before your arrival - please let me know. We want to earn your business and your trust. I am local and very responsive - I can be reached anytime by phone or the VRBO app. I am a short 20-minute drive to the cabin and I am typically in the area every single day. I hope you have an incredible stay with us and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
