Condo overlooking Shelter Cove Harbor
Ideal Perfect Family Vacation.
Stay in Shelter Cove at Palmetto Dunes which is Hilton Head Islands favorite for waterfront dining, water activities, events, live music and accommodations. Shelter Cove offers nightly entertainment in the summer and year round water front dining. Sit on your balcony and enjoy the music or walk downstairs to join in the festivities. Staying at Shelter Cove gives you access to 2 beaches located in Palmetto Dunes. You can drive or take the free shuttle. When you decide to leave the beach you can cool off at the pool which has both sun and shade and located down the steps from the condo. The pool also has a grill that can be used. When you are ready to relax for the evening there are multiple restaurants in Shelter Cove all with a different variety of food. The great part is you don't have to drive!!! After dinner you can either sit on the balcony to listen to music or walk the harbor to look at all the boats.
The condo itself has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. 1 room has a King Size bed and the other has 2 twin beds. There is a pull out sofa that has linen if you need it. There are plenty of dressers and a big closet to unpack your clothes in. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need if you decide to eat in. The grocery store along with other shops and restaurants, including Starbucks, is a quick 2 min car ride or a 5 min bike ride without even having to get back on the main road.
As well as great restaurants and entertainment, Shelter Cove also offers a variety of water activities such as fishing charters, kayaks, paddle boards, nature tours, dolphin cruises, boat rentals and 2-person catamarans. All within steps of the condo. No having to get in the car and drive anywhere! Or you can simply just watch the dolphins play in the marina or the in fall see the manatees!
Palmetto Dunes, located directly across the street, has fun activities such as golf, tennis and pickleball. Rent bikes and ride along the bike paths to see what beauty the island has to offer.

Why they chose this property
We have been vacationing in Hilton Head since 1986 and have stayed at different places but we love Shelter Cove. Our favorite part is being able to watch Shannon Tanner (a famous local) from our balcony every night. And the fact that we have so many options without having to drive in the evenings. You don't have to worry about getting everyone ready and rushing out the door because everything, including the pool, is only steps away.
