The Space:

Begin and end your days with a view of the Atlantic Ocean! This Villamere 3332 condo has two balconies that overlook the ocean, and the beach is within walking distance. At the condo complex, you can swim in either of the shared pools; one is outdoors. and the other is indoors and also has a hot tub and a nearby gym.



Located in the Palmetto Dunes area of Hilton Head Island, SC, this condo is near the Atlantic Coast. A boardwalk leads from the condo complex to the shore, and an outdoor shower near the walking path is useful for rinsing off sand after a trip to the beach. The complex also has a seasonally heated outdoor pool and hot tub, an indoor pool and hot tub, a fitness center, and a picnic area with grills.



This condo has two bedrooms with televisions, two full bathrooms, and two balconies. The living room and the master bedroom lead to one balcony, and the other balcony is accessed from the additional bedroom. In the living room, you can gaze out the windows at the coast or watch the 42-inch flatscreen television. Meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen can be eaten at the breakfast bar or at the dining table that seats six.

First, let me say that the entire process was incredibly smooth, and the communication was outstanding from start to finish. Everything leading up to and during our stay was easy and well handled.Pros: The location and ocean view are amazing. The property itself is beautiful, and the pools are great. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, and gym. There is a lot to like about the property and its amenities.Cons: The condo itself definitely needs some updating and attention. The master bedroom has French glass-pane doors with no curtains or coverings, so there is zero privacy. The master bathroom had peeling paint, the master bedroom carpet was noticeably dirty, and one of the sliding glass doors did not open at all. The sliders leading out to the patio were also extremely difficult to open.Overall: I would absolutely stay at this property again, but I would not choose this particular condo. At roughly 450 per night, I expected the unit itself to be better maintained and in better condition. The location, views, amenities, and excellent communication made the overall experience enjoyable, but the condition of the condo didn't quite match the price point.
