North Shore Lake Tahoe - Near Ski Resort and Beach

Come and stay in a wonderful warm house that your whole family can enjoy. It is close to many activities and just five miles from Northstar Ski Resort and two miles from the nearest Safeway superstore. The house has everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped with various kitchen gadgets, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and enough cutlery and dishes so you're not constantly doing dishes. Simply bring your own personal items. There are ROKU TVs in the living room and all three bedrooms (total of four). Numerous VHS tapes and DVDs available for viewing. Lots of great restaurants are close and the quaint little town of Truckee is nearby.

Wonderful stay. Really appreciated all the little extras like available spices, etc. plenty of blankets to deal with uneven heating. Fireplace was great as well. Very pleasant and comfortable stay! Location was fantastic just minutes from North Star skiing.

The cabin was perfect! We had such a lovely time. It was clean and spacious. All the instructions and supplies were easy to find and well labeled. It was cozy and sweet and close to amenities for a quick grocery run or trip to the beach. Will definitely plan on staying again the next time we’re in Tahoe

This cabin is roomy and comfortable, with furnishings in very good condition. Very functional kitchen for cooking and socializing. The neighborhood is nice, and so close to both Northstar and the lake. The place was cleaned well but was missing dishwasher soap and the hot water was still turned down, which we didn't notice until we needed them. (A big storm arrived so host could not reach us on the dishwasher soap and we couldn't go out.) So not a 5 this time but absolutely would come here again and expect a 5 star.

Myself, wife and our five kids had an amazing time staying at this well kept and spacious place. Walking out the back was like you had your own private access to a forest. All the amenities and supplies were more than we anticipated. Host does an amazing job preparing the place for her guest!

Ski weekend at NorthStar

This lovely cabin is just perfect for our ski trip (3 adults and 4 kids). We rented it last year and will certainly do it again next year. The house is clean, cozy, you can find everything you need for cooking, and it's close to the resort.

Wonderful Stay!

This house is a great spot for a family. Lots of space to be together downstairs and a loft (with toys!) where the kids can play on their own if they want to. The house was incredibly well-appointed with every kitchen utensil, game, and movie you could want. We really appreciated that they had a sled in the garage since we didn’t bring one and were there for a short trip.

Our favorite place at Tahoe

It's the 4th time we're staying in Peggy's house, and we had a great time as always. The location is great - close to town but secluded with direct forest access from the porch, the house is well-equipped, and the layout is great.We had some snags with water leaks that were taken care of quickly.Hoping to come back for our 5th time soon!

We had a wonderful time. The house was equip with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Walking trails behind home, short drive to the lake, Tahoe City for rafting and restaurants. Plan on returning next summer.
