Our cozy home on Rim Dr has beautiful views from the grand living/family room, a freestanding real wood fire stove and a large flat screen TV with cable/Wifi and a stereo system. The house has all necessary appliances and fixtures throughout, newly tiled bathrooms, and carpet in the all bedrooms. There is lovely oak flooring in the grand family room.

There is a covered Hot-Tub with seating for up to 6 people, professionally maintained. This Tahoe Rim Home is warm and comfortable, perfect for Tahoe vacations all year round.

*Please Note: Due to recent county regulations, we are NO longer able to provide access to a BBQ GRILL at the property. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we comply with local safety guidelines.

The ski season usually runs from Thanksgiving to Easter, Casinos entertainment nearby at the CA/NV state line village.

Fabulous Tahoe “tree house”

This house is spacious and very well designed for a family group hanging out in the open wood-paneled living room with high ceilings or dining out on the lovely deck. We made several elaborate dinners/breakfasts, and the kitchen was very accommodating (with dishwasher!) It doesn’t directly overlook the lake, though you can see patches of the water through branches of beautiful tall trees. It’s also very close to Kings Beach and only 15 mins or so from Tahoe City, where there are many great restaurants and good ol’ Fanny Bridge, by the Truckee River.

Loved this property’s location, close to many things to do in North Tahoe. Nice, quiet neighborhood, would love to stay again. Layout of the home was perfect for us and some extended family together.

We fell in love with Lake Tahoe upon moving to California in 1984. We rented vacation homes for a while and acquired a taste for Tahoe's rustic and mountain living. Being an athletic and adventurous family, we were drawn to Tahoe for all seasons. Over the years we have remodeled our home and made it a vacation paradise for others to enjoy as well!

Why they chose this property

LOCATION! We fell in love with its cozy feel and perfect location. Not to mention the amazing lake views! Some other handy perks include County maintained roads always open in the winter, and snow removal for the driveway, and easy access to 5 ski resorts... Nevada Casinos are just few miles away as well. The house is great and has the mountain feel with a classic A-frame and wrap around deck.

What makes this property unique

Our favorite activities are snowboarding and skiing at any one of several ski resorts within 10-15 minutes drive. During the summer we enjoy boating, paddle boarding and even wakeboarding on the crystal clear water of Lake Tahoe. Our Evenings are usually spent on the deck having dinner with friends and family.
