About this property

Great location - 10 minutes from the beach!

House occupancy is limited to 12 people including kids so be aware there is an extra fee for each person between 11-12.

This is a very spacious, comfortable home, perfect for families, close to restaurants and shopping, the beach, casinos and close to Northstar and Alpine Meadows ski resorts! While there is a garage, there is PLENTY of parking own the long driveway.

My home is in a very quiet residential neighborhood among the tall trees of Tahoe Vista. Enjoy fast, free wifi, big screen YouTube TV, plus TV/Blu ray in master BR, and another TV in kids room. Enjoy sitting on either deck ( one with a distant lake view ) and relax!

Need to wash your clothes? No problem, there is a washer/dryer right in the main bathroom. Enjoy soft sheets are on every single bed. Cozy in with a fireplace and watch Netflix.

Kitchen is fully stocked with dishwasher, coffeemaker and grinder, pots/pans, whatever you need to cook as if you're at home.

PLEASE EMAIL ME FIRST if you are interested in a SKI LEASE, they start the first Monday after New Years Day. There is a minimum of 3 months to rent it and requires references. There is an age requirement of 28 to rent.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put all dirty laundry in downstairs bathroom and please don't leave more than 2 loads ( it takes extra long to dry up there ).
Make sure the BBQ is stored and locked in the back shed. Make sure both doors leading to outside decks are locked.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Security deposit is sent by VRBO returned after 14 days as long as there are no extra fees incurred. I can't guarantee the exact time.
During holidays and summer season, early check-ins and late checkouts are not possible due to frequent back to back cleans.
Charcoal BBQ's are against the law due to the fire danger. You risk forfeiting your security deposit if you disregard this.

Great location!

We had a great weekend and stay, loved how close it was to the beach and golf course. Only issue was how hot it got since there is no AC, appreciated all of the fans all over the house. Loved the hanging out on the back deck watching the sunset to cool off. Kitchen was very well stocked. Would def book again!

Location is perfect and house layout

We enjoyed the layout of the house having one bathroom in the second floor and one in the first floor (no master bedroom) house also has plenty of beds and rooms for big families. Locations is perfect just about 5 minutes walk to the beach.

We stayed at the house for a week, and it is in a great location at the northern part of the lake. The kitchen was loaded with every amenity needed for cooking. The beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again!

In town for daughter’s wedding and had a wonderful time. The house is laid out in a way that works well for a group and is a combo of updated and needing some updating. Check out instructions can use some clarification but we would stay again and loved the location!

This place was Awesome!

This place was perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for our whole party of 13 plus some. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and so was the bathrooms. I would definitely recommend this place for large families.

Beautiful Location

We stayed at this property for our first annual girls weekend and we were not disappointed. The property was spacious and beautiful and the outside patio was perfect for the evenings. The location was close to lots of shopping areas and restaurants and a conveniences like a grocery store. The property was better than expected and made our trip to Tahoe so much better.

We had a great time in this cabin , walking distance to the lake although the crowd at the beach is not welcoming to us Asians, Didn’t stay long, just went for a walk around the area.House is clean everything we need for cooking is available .Although there are things that needs to be updatedWill recommend to friends .

This was my childhood vacation home and I spent every year coming up to Tahoe. I love the area, the clean air and the a-frame ceiling provides lots of space to have a family gathering.

Why they chose this property

Because it's private, cozy while giving you lots of space to sit and relax while on the computer or watching the kids play outside. There are lots of great restaurants nearby and the North Shore casinos are only 10 minutes away! Tahoe City provides great shopping which is 15 minutes away. Reno is about 50 minutes away.
